I think this arc probably works better in one go, rereading the whole series it's a nice descent from pretty careless fun to everything going to pieces. Kinda interesting since MC is functionally unstoppable but he is just one guy.

I read somewhere that it was totally axed, as the OG novel was also axed after 1 volume, so this story in totality has no continuation from any angle.
I.E: It's really not worth feeling anything for these characters, when we're not going to see this going anywhere.
