Could someone please give me a summary of this story? I just need to read gay part; I don't have enough free time to read the whole thing😭. Thanks in advance.

I gotchu, boo.

Slice of life about a gravity-defying girl named Akebi Komichi who wears an old sailor uniform that is different from the others (thanks to an innocent misunderstanding). She chooses to keep the uniform and charms everyone with her pure and cheerful personality. Specially Erika, the one who will become her lover. I suggest you start reading from chapter 69. That's when Erika changes her looks and Komichi starts seeing her romantically.

Brilliant summary! Can I make one suggestion? @keeagng6705 might want to pickup at ch 51 where the school play arc begins. That chapter in particular (IMO) shows how the school play set them up for the events in ch 69.

Edit: @keeagng6705 , THIS character chart will help if you’re not familiar with the series.

Great. Except don't start at Ch 69... Start at the very beginning. You'll miss a shitton of great stuff if you skip the first 68 chapters.

Oh, watch the anime too. The animation quality is insane and it's adapted quite well...

Soooo... Wasn't the 89 raws supposed to drop today? Is everything ok with Hiro-sensei?

The waiting is killing me. It has been more than 3 months!

There is no schedule. Young Jump p. much lets him publish whenever he wants to.

Wow... Only Hiro can flex like that.
There are certainly a few mangaka like that, but I'm happy Hiro is one of them. Akebi is the kind of art that benefits tremendously from not being rushed. Hiro takes no shortcuts. Unlike a lot of manga where you can see things like characters composited over modeled backgrounds or even blurred photographs, here everything is drawn together. The style is always consistent within a panel. The attention to detail is over the top. And of course I don't need to expound about the unmatched sense of motion without needing to rely on unrealistic squash and stretch.

The manga is an excuse to portray the art, and yet the writing itself is top tier. And even then, the chapters are gigantic. If the compromise for that is waiting a while between them, that's a trivial thing to ask I think.
