I think the meaning was more to highlight Itou's blind spot about herself? Because while Itou's declare that she can't accept the idea that someone is cosplaying as a replacement of the actual person, but that's exactly what Takahashi is doing. She was planning to do it to Itou. By Itou's own principles, Takahashi should be someone she can't accept either.

you are not wrong but think about it.
she wiped Itou's tears away as she said that.
she was already acting different toward Itou in the previous chapter.
and now she's saying she's hearing her use blasphemous for the first time.
she already used it, but Takahashi never heard it before.
did Takahashi forget? no, she wasn't listening to Itou before.
now, she is listening to Itou, she is hearing what Itou has to say, she is no longer just looking at Itou as a replacement.
she was indifferent toward Itou's emotions and feelings and thoughts, but this is no longer the case.
why? because the way Takahashi feels about Itou, has changed.
that's why i emphasize the change from ''wanting to eat Itou'' to ''Itou having to kill Takahashi''.

She already makes it clear that she won't be eating Itou going forward.
that's what i'm trying to highlight, the change in dynamics.

Apply the irrationality of not wanting to remove the human heart from the equation that Itou has embodied twice now, and I suspect she would find a way to similarly rationalize to herself why Takahashi needn't die, like she desires N & Fake Yoru to die, solely because of the emotional bonds she's built between them (at least from Itou's side, but I'd argue from both).
And I suspect that is where Itou can teach Takahashi, for once.
Sure, that might work in the short term.

But Takahashi's body has an expiration date, so she will need to kill again. And if not Itou then someone else that she is familiar enough with to impersonate, which likely means one of their classmates.

Itou may be able to rationalize it for now, it will be quite different when the cold reality of Takahashi's nature forces the issue.

we know that, yes. Itou may also realize that on some level. But that doesn't mean she's thinking about it, considering it, or willing to confront it in this moment.

Denial is a powerful thing--replace "monster friend needing a new body" with "loved one diagnosed with aggressive cancer", and Itou is just someone refusing to think about the future and focusing on the "you are fine now and I won't just abandon you or treat it like a foregone conclusion that it could get bad someday".

You disgust me...

Acting such a way in the skin of a corpse ya stole is wild
Peace and love my ass

Oh no... Not the friend in love...

No... You've still much to learn about being human I see
I say it's worse to know someone close die earlier while you were none the wiser of the monster in her skin pretending to be her, cause now there's the feeling of guilt, if only I had known sooner, though this is specifically they find out scenario, sure it's fine now but should she be revealed a monster it'll all go to shit...
And yet you ow it to those close to the original to not make those close to her suffer more so by keeping it hidden...
An interesting topic though morbid

I'm a little confused, Mr. N killed Hiraizumi, at what point did another monster start using her body?

Did Mr. N, like, reproduce inside of her or something?
