Forum deaths can be arbitrarily declared every day.
I feel like upto two weeks is alright for most online things where you don't have to be super active... maybe they'll come back and be like "Yo this crazy thing happened" or "I forgot lol".
Three weeks should be enough to get some kind of progress.
More than a month then something could be wrong or they're just not feeling like it.
One year is when you can be a bit more certain that they left for something but there's still a possibility of returning later.
We're dealing with a bizzare and cunning fellow. Anything is possible.
Maybe he wants to see our reaction? Maybe he's unable to use his pc and doesn't want to use a smartphone? Perhaps he got addicted to a new thing? Maybe he's trapped in a state of limbo? Got isekai'd and has to defeat literally everything in another world?
Whatever it is, I hope he's alright, able and willing to return.

Like say someone asks a question and then a week or month later they or someone else asks it again maybe with slightly different wording. You alright with that?

I'm fine with it if the question has been improved in some way.
