I'm honestly a little disappointed that we got to see the Second Prince's corpse, and confirmation that he was assassinated.
I personally wanted to see that he had faked his own assassination when he found out his father and younger brother had been antagonizing the sleeping world superpower, their vassal had fucked up a major alliance with said superpower's Royal Family by mistreating their popular Princess and her son, and to top it all off, his older brother had been kidnapping the superpower's citizens to sell as slaves and to use as his own sex slaves, creating an Epstein Manor ON ROYAL PROPERTY.

All when the superpower, who had been sleeping because of a lack of [OIL], now has formed an alliance with unfriendly neighboring countries to supply their national war machine with as much fuel as they want, and the first shipments have already reached their refineries.

It looks like we're missing a chapter, but she's Shanon, one of the red foxes. Most likely the one who ruined Ishtalica long ago. She was engaged to the second prince, and likely had him killed to push Hyme (original kingdom MC is from) into declaring war. The first Prince and Claune's mom seem to be the only two not under her influence, and are likely fleeing to Ishtalica

So as confusing as the 2nd half was, I did abs love the reveal that the prince is not a spoiled idiot running towards his own death but Just acting like one in the moment to actually save his kingdom. I went from looking forward to his death to cheering him on quite quickly.

It's funny because that's exactly how Ain feels about all of this.
He has waifus to woo and take on dates, a competent bureaucracy that he can leave the governing of his nation to, and the popularity to use part of the Royal Treasury for said dates without reprimand, but no, THIS DAMN FOX/PLOT keeps cockblocking him with national emergencies.

As far as I remember Ed is the strongest Knight in Euro, who bested Ain's "Father" in one of the earlier arcs. He was also the one who gave Ain a gift of a Red Fox statue that caused him to freak out, cut his own ship in half, then fall into a coma for like 6 months or something. It was unclear if that was intentional at the time but now it's pretty clear that it was a malicious gift.

Shanon is the fiancé of Ain's "brother", clearly the Red Fox, but it seems like the Red Fox can reincarnate itself or something since it seems she used to be Ed's former Lover or Master or something, and I guess she's the reason poor Marco went crazy.

I wonder what Queen Ravioli's stone tastes like, I hope it actually tastes like ravioli, lol. I also don't remember if we've come across Ed's daughters at some point in the story because I'm pretty sure the story went to Ischt at some point. I could go back and check but I just re-read this story like 1 or 2 chapters ago and I just don't feel like it right now.

the landmine looking girl is shanon, the fiance of the mc's brother, she was introduced in like the first chapter and just got reintroduced again.
the ed guy is her follower, he beat the mc's ex-father in fights all the time, he is also the assassin who's killed the royals and nobles of hyme kingdom.
the 2 daughters ed reveals were kidnapped in a earlier arc in the city of magic tools, where the corrupt noble was kidnapping children and doing human experiments and human trafficking, the mc rescued the 2 sisters, one of them is a maid in the royal palace and the other is a doctor now. names are mel and v-something.

also the creepy doctor called oz told a "story" that there was a chief(the red fox shanon) and her 3 supporters(or sons?), one was a researcher (oz), one was a guy who fell in love with the queen (who?), and the final one was a spear master who followed the fox to another country, that is edward. probabp
