Good morning, afternoon, evening, night, whenever you're seeing this, people.

WELCOME TO THE SECOND MANGA TOURNAMENT'S AWARD CEREMONY!

It's been a long 3 months since this tournament started, and look how far we've come since then!

So much voting, so much reading, so many one-

Wait hold on, wrong script. My bad.

So much has happened these past couple of months. Like, initially when I hosted this tournament, I was still a Roland! But as the times changed, so did I! And... Uh... Oh, @BakedBanana disappeared- no, that's a bit too recent of an event... Mmmh... The CCT got a lot of GETs, though that happens so often now it's barely even something notable... Fuck.

Well uh, before I announce the winners, I wanna give a special shoutout to two fellas for helping make this tournament a bit less chaotic than my previous tournament...

Ah, Bart. What would I have done had you not offered your assistance back then? I would've driven this tournament to the ground.
(Well, not really, but a lot more mistakes would've been made on my end.)

He's the man responsible for the Master Thread for this tournament getting pinned to the top of the lounge forum.
I don't believe any other thread from the lounge has been pinned before, so receiving this honor was certainly a surprise, but a welcome one nonetheless.

He's also the man behind the slau-wait, that's what I'm known for these kinds of infographics in the Master Thread:
round-1-png.53148

This tournament helped me get closer to him, even if the distance I traveled was but mere centimeters;
yet somehow, those centimeters bridged the gap enough for me to secure his Discord DMs and a new friend.

And I would like to share more about him, but I think I'd rather let him speak his words.
Plus, I already said a couple extra words about him in my previous tournament.

So, Bart, what'd you think about this tournament?
Bartolumiu said:
Don't trust the purple (redacted)! Also, hi mom, I'm famous (apparently) :wooow:
Simple, yet elegant. Thank you Bart, for sharing these words...
That is, if it wasn't me who wrote that because you were busy doing something. Sigh.

Panda, my panda (the angry one), oh how your services have aided me in...

Wait.

shuffles papers
Why is he here? He didn't do jack shit. I even called up Jack himself, and he told me he didn't have a panda inside his home, let alone his bed.
What's going on here?

Well, whatever... His most useful contribution (I guess) for this tournament is repeatedly asking @BakedBanana if he's voted yet, which if anything, encouraged him not to vote at all, but...

Argh, fuck it. I've already asked for his words, so let's hear 'em.

Panda (the angry one), any thoughts?

As a co-organizer of this contest, David has given me the opportunity to say a few works. Apparently, being co-organizer means voting, making snarky comments, and eating pie without getting too many crumbs in the keyboard, which aligns fairly well with my skill set.

First, kudos to David - the tournament ran basically on schedule, no one was seriously injured, and there was no detectable rigging, which means the rigging that I can very much confirm did occur was successful.

Congratulations to the winners; presumably the new Itsukimoto will be back to claim their title and vanquish the impostor Ltsukimoto. Possibly with the help of Manko-sensei and panzerkampfwaygu yeah, I have doubts about those two working together for some reason....

Finally, a very special message to someone here who truly deserves it.
Huh. Humility. I didn't expect that.
Also, of course the very last thing he says is his second most iconic line behind "Cake or Pie?". Sigh.

Well, without further ado...

On to our winners!

You know, I'd love to shower him with praise, talking about his history, the things he did, and all that.
But uh, there's just one thing.
He's a Roland.

So uh... No.

Besides, he's (as of the time of posting this thread) missing, it's not like he's gonna complain anyways.

And because he's missing, no words have escaped from his mouth. And I don't accept comments from impostors.

So let's move on.

@Manko-sensei

Oh man, where do I start with him...

A hardcore loli enthusiast, Yuri lover second, this proud, unwavering Spanish dude has been here since 2019, uploading manga, making reports and doing lots of other stuff in the main site before accidentally discovering the forums somewhere around 1-3 years ago. But it definitely took a while for him to receive that Contributor role. He received it on August 6th, 2024, by the way.

Despite some of the stuff he says, I actually quite enjoy his presence here in the forums. Some things wouldn't be the same without him.

But my words don't give him that much credit. So let's hear some of his!

Manko, what'd you think of this tournament?

Since everyone likes pets I went with one-shots that featured animals and even role-played it. To all who voted for any of them in the tournament, you should be aware you have a pet-play kink!
...you know what, I'm not even gonna make a snarky remark to this. No.

And finally...

How ironic that THE Yuri hater of all time won alongside a Yuri lover.

You know him, some of you like him, a microscopic minority of you hate him, it's the beefy tank man himself.

The man who patented GITG launchers, the man who has 99 problems with Yuri, here he is.

Honestly, I don't have much to say about him. Besides the whole "me no likey yuri" thingy, I actually kind of like him platonically.
I'm excited for his 5555th post.

So, since I don't have much to say, let's hear some words from the man himself!

Any thoughts from that head of yours, Panzer?

Regarding the Yuri Stuff, pretty disappointed by the lack of quality of most of it, like only one passed as good enough to deserve a vote and I gave them a fair judgement.
Pretty happy that 3 of my entries survived the first round and that I got third place with the utter classic of Molester Man.
Also happy that the Redditor Doujin of I'm gonna fix that girl didn't make it, ShindoL and emergence aren't even that good. Read Fan no Hitori instead,
Also, Congratulations to @Itsukimoto.
What humility. Bro even congratulated the missing @Itsukimoto! How sweet.

To round it all off, I want to thank you all for voting and participating in another tournament of mine.

Even though turnout was lower than last time, I'm still happy that some people still shared doujins of theirs in their library for more people to read and appreciate it.

So, for the bottom of my heart, thank you, all of you. Again.

And to those who only voted or just observed the show, I hope you had a great time reading all those doujins. May your library be filled with slightly more "Completed" entries than before.

This is David, signing off.

Happy that itsuki's title won. But it's an offence that manko's middle of the road yuri got past molester man. Actually nobody said anything noteworthy of molester man. Am i alone in my love for it???

I still haven't finished it after all these years, but from what I've read, it's nice. Really emulates that feeling of something I would read back in the 2010s, which is not often.
