Wait, why the hell is Manaka supposed to forgive Tsubomi for?? I don't remember them going out when Tsubomi was bullying MC
Tsubomi did try to do stuff with Ueno just before he asked Manaka out and she DID bully him (though it was more her not knowing how to interact with boys) while she was still friends with Manaka. So Tsubomi probably felt awkward about the situation.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks the ending suggests a threesome. It seems so obvious.

And it just leads to a what-if. A fantasy scenario where they're both having a lot of fun, much like Chisaki's. I can see this being a little fanservice-y on the part of the author but it seems counterintuitive to keep reminding everyone that the winning girl has the least chemistry. 😤
I suppose the author could have the yuri do a what-if as well, and then finish with Moka's ex to get over the big 100 chapter mark?

This all does seem more like a finale, but one that doesn't really have anything major happening. If the author is aiming just to get past 100 chapters: Moka's ex shows up and gets dommed by her. This scares him off but turns Ueno on. Ending with them together. Rather disappointing end; A lot of potential not used.

Are we legit gonna have a reasonable ending? No sudden swerve?

Seems like author is just cucking the readers..
If I would ever bought issues of comics like this and I realize "oh, author just shifted genre, completly disrespects his own story, endless fillers and he even do what if's..." yeah, that moment I would just burn them all...
For the 6 or 7 years I do read mangas, I realized how much of a thrash they are. They are basically set up for failure as well.

Past chapter 100? Hm. Well, most volumes in this series have nine chapters in it. Assuming the trend continues, we are about to reach the end of the volume 10.

Volume 9 (69-77)
Volume 10 (78-86)
Volume 11 (87-95)

The end of volume 10 (chapter 86) should be the start of Kanako's turn. She most likely gets two chapters dedicated to her (chapter 86-87) so you have to ask yourself if the mangaka can wrap the finale arc in 8 chapters with Ueno and Moka finding a way to enjoy sex, especially if the finale arc starts at the upcoming trip to DisneySea?

Do you think the author wouldn't want to get to 100? Maybe it's just me but that seems like it would be a milestone. :dogewow:

Hmmm. Fireworks and manga don't go well together. Moka's development included exhibitionism (is that the fetish? They seemed like they liked the great outdoors). So something happens at the close of the DisneySea arc correlating to the fireworks. The last volume, 12, gets the series into the big three digit range. Approximately 9 chapters for Ueno to mope and be comforted by Tsubomi (or if you must one or more of the others). I'm finding it hard to see Moka falling at this point so maybe it's more her realizing they're not meant to be? With the latest (RAW) chapter the author again shows Ueno having a good time with Tsubomi. That's twice. Add in the other what-if with Chisaki and it's three. Presumably yuri would get one to, though it doesn't seem like it would fit given her, you know, yuri-ness. But maybe that's what she realizes. So presumably four different instances of Ueno enjoying himself compared to the one (or two depending on how you count it) instances of "despair" with Moka. Did Chisaki ever confess? I don't remember her doing so. So she does one of those heated exclamations, tears up, and then both primally pounce on each other for a grand finale.
You think it's possible?

Really I think there's not necessarily any reason the author has to end it here. But apparently they're ready to move on. Their next series better be at least as good.

A threesome could totally work! Tsubomi is not on the same vibe as what Ueno and Moka feel for each other. She wants to be friend, and she wants to share everything with them including sexual experiences. But I don't see her trying to steal anyone.

Let her in! Welcome her! She brings fun wherever she is, you just have to share the fun back with her!

Chapter 100 is a neat milestone. If I was a writer and I was getting close to that milestone, I wouldn't feel any shame padding out the story to reach it. I don't think this mangaka share the same settlement so I think this series will fall short in reaching it. Once chapter 87-88 is revealed, I will get a better feel of how the story will end and how long will it take that to happen.

As for the finale theory: Even though the story(via Kanako and Moka) keep hinting at a angle of Chisaki possibly liking Ueno romantically, she is adamant that's not the case. If the story ended with Chisaki rekindling her slave-master relationship with Ueno, I would be shocked.

I think her adamant rejection of the romantic love she feels is the final point that's left unresolved. She can't do it now without being a "home-wreaker", but if Moka is out of the picture that's a different question entirely. What better time for that epiphany moment than seeing Ueno in such a hurt state, especially when she realizes she's hurting too. The slave-master relationship, at least the negative version that's tainted their relationship this entire series, can't be rekindled without harming the story and character arcs. Otherwise why not just end the series already? How many chapters do you need to resolve the couple's disfunction if it's going to be a rather quick resolution anyway?
