I think given that brother situation Maiko's family situation is horrible and she's trying to make a baby outside of herself to overwrite her experience but it's also scared to have the kid come from get directly hence am this manipulation, which honestly seems exhausting to menage all these ppl

Definitely an interesting chapter. Very sad to see their son did get scammed and is now "happy" being used this way but he decided he is too empirically invested to back out now, even when given the chance by a senpai.

Cray, this sweetness is going to be very short-lived but I don't know how do let's just enjoy the trainwreck.
