So I looked this one up.
Light novel premises are definitely getting dumber.

The setup is contrived, unrealistic, and frustrating but that seems to be the norm. Umm, otherwise it's kinda interesting. You know what I wish though? I wish that after the MC killed himself the main heroine found herself sent back in time. Then we still followed the MC, but he had no idea there was another timeline and instead there was just this random girl doing everything she could to try and prevent the tragedy without actually having all the information.
Ah yes, I too read fictional media for its "realism". Especially when the work involves TIME TRAVEL.

so just like i said with the exception of the little sister. and her story is the only one actually believable and not over-dramatized to a ridiculous degree. just cope the second chapter is better and solely focuses on the current events. cause finding out why the pretty girl is interested in the mc is actually a bit interesting and the only reason to keep reading.
You really think dad working himself to death as a corporate slave isn't believable at all? In Japan, of all places, where they literally have a word for being worked to death.

Why settle for just the heroine at all when you can have both? :meguusmug:

That’s exactly how the story will goes

Except Hidaka is now her onee-san, and one of the girls in the OG trio is now her gf

Sorry the true MC in this story is Yuzu, she took her brothers’ harem for her own /s :meguupog::pacman:

I couldn't even make it through the whole first chapter. There's just so much overly melodramatic nonsense cliches piled on top of each other. Manipulative life-ruining for no reason, everyone turns on him, he ruins not only his life but others', his whole family dies in a set of contrived accidents/incidents, the other girl heroine rushing to him right as he leaps off the building for reasons. It's just too much, It's like an AI scanned every manga about unpopular mob character protagonists, time leap/resets, piled on "my life is terrible and over" drama series and shoved it all into one giant trope-overdosed story that's desperately trying to hit every "there's a hit story that uses this concept so I'll use it too" button all at once with no regard for actually structuring a decent narrative on its own merits.

I'm willing to bet that she always liked him but never acted on it. You can tell right away because she tried to clear the air between her and the other guy in the past time loop.

the point is to drive a fucking car when you're old enough to know you're not in the best of mental states and should make use of the overabundance of public transport.
