It's not like Sakura couldn't do it before.

Sakura once kicked a dude off of her and he fell back and had a bottle shoved up his ass.
Then there was a time in the Island arc where she bit a dude on the nose and got away. Also that moment in the sauna where Toppy groped her and she pushed him away and gtfo'd.
There may be more but I can't remember them off the top of my head.

Sakura is fully capable of getting out of getting herself out of situations. It just depends on the context. None of this started happening until she started dating Shinobu. That's why the director scene played off so well and was the peak of the NTR bait. He used her wanting to make Shinobu see her as sexy as a tool to get as far as he did. Only for Toppy to, unironically, come in and save the day by getting involved.

As for the whole Yuma thing.. yea she did put up a fight at first because I feel she was pent up since Shinobu didn't have sex with her and gave in once she came.

Not only that, it would make something CRYSTAL CLEAR for everyone involved that Sakura is the only one who has cheated. Now how can you justify Shinobu accepting her back?

Regardless though, his lack of emotional response after learning that he was cheated on was really sad (and my herbivore japenis MC alarms went off). Time skip really didn't help either. His immediate agreement is good (though he didn't even question the fuckboy) but he is acting like they really did break up over mutual agreement and it's not a lie to not make Fumi worry about him.

It'll be Shinobu's decision to make if/when it gets to it, because even in accepting the breakup he was considering her best interest over his own personal feelings. He was in shock when heard about the all nighter part since he was out looking for her all night himself hence the zero emotion into simple acceptance with a singular word "understood". Latest development have Fumi gang over the moon but I'm expecting a cold shower rejection moment followed by them finishing the script and getting the movie going to ramp up speed of the plot so they don't run out of room with the chapter count they have left.

I had same thoughts, for my version, while writing up the script to try and be about Fumi, Shinobu ends up writing the heroine to resemble Sakura more and Fumi subtly pick up on this. I prefer your more direct version where Fumi tells him its ok (makes everything a lot less complicated) to make it about Sakura. Really hoping they assemble all the key character for the movie casting if this is indeed the final volume.
