Well I can't say I'm surprised. She never got her crushes consent at all and then goes and does this. Shinope did something awful but sakine has been sexually assaulting the mc and calling her a slave....

Anyway, now I'd say for sure sakine can understand shinope better. Not necessarily forgive shinope for outing her (crazy although she was like 12 so small brain at the time), but understand that love/obsession can make you do some of the cruelest shit. Partly because these kids need therapy but also because they lack perspective. They're so young they ain't thinking about the big picture ya know?

So the sakine-shinope ship is kind of like, "they deserve each other since they're both crazy," sort of thing.

Four chapters might be enough to defuse the drama and start amending these broken friendships, but it's nowhere near enough for anyone to actually start dating. The emotional wounds here run way too deep for that kind of quick turnaround.

Take Sakine, for example—she's essentially self-destructed at this point. As emotionally fragile as she currently stands, a relationship seems impossible. I'd say any shot with Chiyoko is pretty much gone at this rate, and getting past her heartbreak quickly enough for Shinoppe? Doesn't seem likely either. And honestly... Mafuyu's chances are long since dead.

Now, Chiyoko and Mafuyu together? Maybe possible in theory, but probably not. Mafuyu's already dealing with depression after being friend-zoned by Sakine, then seeing her crush kiss Chiyoko just piled more trauma on top. That's going to take serious time to process.

From Chiyoko's angle, even though she's been dragged through everyone else's chaos without really doing anything wrong, her kindness makes her prone to internalizing blame. She'll probably carry guilt about possibly fracturing this whole group dynamic—and that guilt alone might keep her from pursuing anything with Mafuyu. Sakine's presence will haunt that decision regardless.

So yeah, bottom line: I don't see anyone landing with anyone soon. If relationships do somehow form naturally by the end? Then the author's basically working miracles.

Shinoppe's been on the verge of breaking herself out of this messy cycle for a bit now, hell of a thing to fully snap her back to reality but nice that it hit nonetheless, that last expression she has seeing Sakine go full scorched earth is great

really curious how Chiyoko will handle all of this tho, with how she's been blown around by the whims of the others it'd be nice to see her fully take charge this one time
