I think you are removing the romantic aspect of relationships and only affiliating them based on sex alone. There is a lot more that go into than sex with someone better.

Its realistic because this is how complicated relationships can get, you dont ever just fall out of love with someone in a few months. The most you can do in those situations is try to work it out or try to move on. The author will force the encounter and only then will we see how the 2 MCs handle it

Thats why i think this one is purposely different. Otherwise she wouldve established Sakura getting run through at the very beginning. Most authors arent gonna rehash the exact same formula they did in previous work, She is clearly trying something to deviate from her prior stories while also borrowing some elements.

Kinda like when i saw an action manga author go into slice of life afterward, they want to write different things sometimes

Now she somewhat achieved that result, poorly executed but still done and the response is literally all of us and the JP comments discussing that big shift. Majority of the work revolves around the romance of the MCs and slight elements of NTR to completely NTR a major character, this will still go back to focus on the romance part

Doomdiscussing. I'm just curious if Sakura even did accept Yuma's confession so quickly and if it'll mirror Shinobu's response to Fumi. How come after a few months all the news we see is Sakura gets a side role in a TV drama instead of a major movie role while Shinobu all of sudden lands the director/writer job. Yes pg 9 exists, but details leave room to dobut, for all we know the reveal that it was only ever that one night stand could be closer to the truth. If Shinobu rejects Fumi and no Sakura PoV is yet shown I'll be more and more convinced fuckboi got rejected in the end and that Sakura's just done with romance on her part.

Which Shinobu is not, there's hope! I know fuckboi is the Gary Sue character so we might never get any flaws out of him but it'd be nice to see some, maybe he's seeing several other side chicks that he sets up with his agency or something.
