Thank you for doing this series! I just happened upon a promotional animation for it on twitter, and the first chapter definitely hooked me.

To Nydira/Dream Jellyfish, I don't know how else to contact you about this, but I'm wondering how you obtained the pages for this, because I can get you them in a higher resolution (1350x1920 vs 759x1076). I was downloading them so I could read them in a comic reader, and I have a python script that automatically retrieves the pages in full-res from the website. It only take a couple dozen seconds to run. Let me know if you're interested and I can set up a way to contact you.

the dream jellyfish protecting them from the burning beam was pretty cool, and i like how their dynamic switches up after kino's ability is used

unfortunately, they'll be in real trouble when they encounter the ever fearsome aberrant that kills you when you jump from a relatively high elevation

Just a minor design nitpick for me going forward, I kinda wish the author used the old SIA uniform of them that they posted on twitter as their everyday garments for investigations like these.

Sure, the suits sort of make sense in the first chapter but here it just looks out of place man.

@Nydira Loving the manga so far. There's what I assume is minor typo on the final page of this one. "From the 2nd leaders unit we learned space-time within the house becomes fixen . . ." I assume that should read "fixed". All I can find online for "fixen" is that it's an archaic form of "vixen" i.e. a female fox and that there are a few non-English languages where it translates to English as "fix".

I am still trying to understand Yume-Kurage. It de-ages Kinoko, but apparently not for long, since she stops being a child after escaping the house. Besides, if this chapter's events took place on May 12th and Chapter 1 was on May 17th, that means Kinoko recovered from Yume-Kurage in five days.

Also, tiny Kino is just in the tkmiz artstyle lol

For a bit there I thought the deal would be that the house pauses time for a decently long period and then tricks you into thinking you're eating and digesting normally, but then when it unpauses all the food you ate during that period is suddenly there in your stomach.

I thought the same!
That people trapped would be forced to live there for a long time, and the food they ate would just "Stack Up" to then kill them eventually, as TECHNICALLY they would have eaten all of it at the same time.
And the one that starved realized the trick so refused to eat.
Took me by surprise that they were outright being force-fed XD.
But it makes sense, since someone starving would end eating even if they knew it would end killing them, so in retrospective, the simplest answer made the most sense.

When I saw the clues of "date" (12 May) and "over earting" I somehow got a feeling that it could only be three things: 1- The date would be a japanese pun about numbers. 2- It would represent some holiday date (even ancient or modern) or 3- It would be related to birthday party!

Like if it was "every Tuesday" or "every "24:00 on the clock" it would be a shorter cycle, but why a specific date that happens once a year? It felt specific.

On the chapter itself, I love how balanced their dynamic is, both emotionally (Azu is confident and relaxed while the Kino is a scaredy-cat) and in terms of power (Azu is physically strong to get things done while Kino can heal her), but there's even some hints like Azu only caring about Kino and nobody else (probably some backstory element yet to be revealed... on top of their origins hinted in Chapter 1).

This is an episodic story so far but the stories are amusing and there's some overarching elements to look forward to.

Nah the wetsuits being the "first penguin" parallel makes it more iconic than regular work suits.
