I feel that Chinami was only cheating because Takahiro actually made her feel like a woman after having a sexless marriage for so long. Tried to end it for the sake of her family and her love for Fumiya, but Takahiro moving to be near her fucked her over... literally. She still held out hope for Fumiya, but seeing him being in love with Naruse basically killed her inside. Chinami finally gave in to the one person that actually made her feel like a woman all this time: Takahiro.

Chinami has the warmth of being a mother, with the security of having a caring husband. But she does not feel the warmth of actually being a woman from Fumiya. Everyone has their needs, and Takahiro seems to be the only one to fulfill her need to be a woman.

Chinami seeing Fumiya and Naruse having the loving relationship she's always wanted really messed with her head. But I think that the other thing that destroyed her would be the guilt of being the one that cheated first and never stopped cheating the whole time. Everyone was around 30 years old when the story started. Add in the time skip for the kids and the 10+ years afterward, they all would be in their mid-40's. It would be pretty hard for any of them to find another person to cheat on at their age.
