He doesn't know how OP the enemies will be, since they'll be buffed by their respective world epics/gods/etc.

When he sent out dragons to deliver his 'challenge' to them, all those dragons were killed.

I feel like we don't get to see the true scale of how enormous he is enough. This chapter was a very good example.

It's day 316. These human women are married to something that was born less than a year ago. Humans don't even learn to walk or talk in the amount of time it's taken him and his crew to have "adult" children of their own.

It's not the focus of the story but those humans have to feel weird about drinking with someone who wore diapers and couldn't walk mere months ago.

His 'story' status has been building up to it as more of his crew awaken to their subcast roles.

But the timing got put down around the end of his volcano dungeon dive, where he send out summoned monsters to tell each country 'come at me on X date if you dare' and we get quick intro to other factions (like the sickly princess turned chosen one)

so the events isn't actually in order in the raws (don't ask me why, i just translate what it says orz... like you can see how it matches the little drawings, you can see it's not us who are psychopaths

and we're trying new formats with the pr-process and that's apparently affecting the typesetter... so some of the un-PR'ed lines are getting placed in as well orz (and yea we don't have QA unfortunately

I've lost track of the plot since like, 6 years ago? Since then, I'm still reading solely to see Minokichi.
