129 was shocking disgusting and worst of all depressing I have never had a manga cause those feelings before it was more because of the art than anything but I have to give the author credit there for that even if I hated it.

I did end up eventually going through the whole thing. Honestly I look at it more neutrally now.

I will say that when I first read the chapter, the title worried me. I was like "no, surely not." Then I read through it and as soon as it was in the panel where the insertion happened I backed out. I've never felt a gut punch that hard when it came to reading manga.

What happened definitely wasn't the way to go about it, but in these types of stories, I personally don't know how Katsura Airi feels about it, but it's still possible for MCs to overcome inhumanly impossible odds to reunite (ShiKura ftw) in the ending. For GraPara! right now this goes against the "reader's will", but "reader's will" in a proper story has no impact. We the readers are just here to experience a story that the creator wants to tell/share and having read every other Airi work out there that has a TL, I find myself having a bit of faith in her still because at the surface level you could say her writing is "bad" but in certain aspects it's lot more layered and meaningful depending on how you view it. A plain bad writer would not be able to make a living to the level that Airi has imo, the creativity is there (looking at you Karamizakari BL holy).

Wild prediction for the conclusion of this manga if there are only 3-4 chapters left is going to be a semi satisfying ending for Sakura.

1&2. Shinobu and Fumi going strong in film set and bed, directing carreer ascending. Sakura talk with Nagi then realize she messed up. Tried to find boyfriend for pseudo comfort.

2. Guess? Boyfriend and blonde girl are getting it on. He said you may join. Run away (again). Accidentaly meet Shinobu and Fumi. They talk and finally cleared the cloud in Sakura's mind. Cried and attempt sxcde. Sakura's double messed up in a chapter.

3. Fast forward years after, Shinobu and Fumi at the film set again, woman in the background. Completing another project. Nationally recognize. Cut to the beach scene, both relaxing with kids. A woman figure then sit next to them with her toddler. Necklace seems similar. She said thanks for waiting. The woman face never showed.

End.

Well we gotta think about it like this.
Sakura basically took what she saw and heard at face value. Not to mention all the swooning she was getting from Blondie and Yuma.

It was a similar instance back in the Island arc. Nagi for Shinobu, that bastard for Sakura. We know he's a bastard but up until that revelation he was looking like a good guy.

Now, during this arc, Sakura and Shinobu had a lot of misunderstandings going on but it got resolved because they talked. They explained their situations and apologized to each other.

That didn't happen this time around. When Nagi was rejected, she didn't care and let the bastard have his way with her.

Sakura, through this misunderstanding, allowed herself, after a small resistance, to be fucked by someone else that wanted her.

Nagi and Sakura are somewhat similar in this regard albeit even if in different circumstances and reasons. Nagi is naturally going to ask how Sakura and Shinobu are both doing. She probably doesn't know they separated.

Sakura is going to explain they're not together.

Nagi isn’t aware of Shinobu’s current situation. Sakura will likely say that she is a victim of being cheated on. Nagi will refute that as she knows Shinobu isn’t the type to cheat. She will also refer to the situation where she tried to make moves on Shinobu but he turned her down for Sakura. This would likely plant a seed of misunderstanding in Sakura. So not a truth bomb per se, but cracks in the wall will appear. I think Fumi or Shinobu will deliver the blow to her.

Or the opposite could happen where instead of getting mad. Nagi feelings for Shinobu reignite. Knowing that the one women he liked is off the market. She could see this as an opportunity. But that will further prolong the story and also be detrimental to Fumi and Shinobu’s development.

Will Shinobi get cockblocked?

No. Anticipated erotic scene this one. Maybe bias, but they have to bring Fumi x Shinobu into fruition. Besides, these two are really making love, we haven’t seen such detailed foreplay and care for each others nut in 131 chapters. This will be box office. To cockblock this now, Airi would enrage her readers and possibly lose numbers.

Well, I went and did it... 132 looked nice so I dropped coins on it. And surely there was an uptick compared to 130 and 131. You can read the comments on mangapoke without buying the episode, so I bet the sales went way down.

Since the creative team isn't completely retarded (just normal retarded) they brought ShiFumi to make dumb fans (and me coff, coff) spend coins.

I really cannot imagine a bad ending for Shinobu. Him being done dirty by Sakura caused an uproar, so all of a sudden, and after 131 episodes of "always in his head, sometimes cowardly" Shinobu we get a guy that read the room and went ahead with his desires. Rolling that back would be madness.

So, KA will do him a bit dirty, no doubt. But I guess that could be done by having him get back with Sakura without him ever asking or knowing about the full extent of her relationship with fuccboi. And we will be shown that fuccboi ran her raw.

Because that seems to be KA pattern. The FMC will always have one over the MC. If ShiFumi never happens, then fuccboi would have just tapped that 1 or 2 times. If ShiFumi happens, Sakura will be shown to have been ran over by fuccboi and probably more.

It the author was not japanese, my hope for a good ending would've been much higher tbh. A bad or a rushed ending is much more common in mangas as compared to manhwas or manhuas. Most of the time, these mfs just lose interest towards the end (that results in a rushed ending with a lot of plotholes) to focus on other projects.

Similarly I have little to no hope for a good ending here. Watch it be an ending where Sakura and Shinobbu reconcile but both are happy with their current relationships, and the "gain after experiencing pain" for Shinobu was Fumi, and the "different" thing that Airi mentioned was that Shinobu was NTRd by a guy that was actually a very good and a genuine guy who cared for Sakura which I dont think has ever happened before (well, atleast I dont know where). Some people may consider this a good ending too but atleast for me, this is the worst possible ending (that actually makes sense since its not an NTR only manga, otherwise the worse ending would be Fumi getting NTRd and shinobu being a loner cuck)
