im working on the 2nd chapter rnThanks for translating the first chapter 🙏
I doubt it. She said there are things she cannot do or undo. So, knowing what he meant and him saying something different are two different things. It's like a genie or that monkey's paw. He literally could have just said "Human" as if it was an unknown concept. So she makes a point to let him know she can read his mind, but then apparently 'misunderstands' him when he wants to be the class at the bottom (human)... I think she just wanted revenge for being called annoying!![]()
gotta have diversity yknowto be fair why is it even an option in the first place 😭✌️
i do mention in the next page that theyre probably dwarves and elves but never changed it to keep consistencyWind Man and Local People probably translates to Elves or ForestKin(?) (Wind and Forest having similar meanings since they come from "Nature") With the Local People probably translating to Dwarves or LandKin(?), just doing context clues.
For all I know, maybe Wind Man are called Sylphs and Local People are called Gnomes.
Holy petty if so—that ain’t a punishment fit for the crime in the slightest, damn.So she makes a point to let him know she can read his mind, but then apparently 'misunderstands' him when he wants to be the class at the bottom (human)... I think she just wanted revenge for being called annoying!![]()
I mean, I guess. To be fair, she could’ve just been like “Let me stop you right there…you can scroll.” or something, but chose to stay silent. So either during that is when she decided to not read his mind, or just didn’t care to correct him, rip. I get that by the time he said it, it was already too late though. Which again is why she should’ve mentioned something, lol. Also didn’t seem that sorry, since she was just smiling while sending him off with a whimsical “Oh well” sorta face.I doubt it. She said there are things she cannot do or undo. So, knowing what he meant and him saying something different are two different things. It's like a genie or that monkey's paw. He literally could have just said "Human" as if it was an unknown concept.
I hate it when the local people come over and drink all my booze while the wind man won't stop trying to chat up my trees. My favorite part of lord of the rings is when Legoland, a wind man is constantly beefing with Gimli, a local person through out the movies and we finally see them put their differences aside after eons of racial tensions between the windmen and local people and fight side-by-side as friends.
