Basically yes yes it was a surrender like everything that happens after the last panel of 129 was an after thought that doesn't really matter. Feels like all Arir cared about was that one panel.
No one contesting that as far as 129 is concerned, but now in 132 where Fumi wanters are being being given a treat, in the middle of it all the author made a point to show Sakura again and reintroduce Nagi who once in love with Shinobu and was very upfront about it. That is enough to keep things interesting and not assume the story is going through some final death throes.

A story fully shifting to Fumi will not work long run, meaning story is ending in a few more chapters, and if that's how it goes, so be it, Fumi enjoyers get the last laugh. Sakura's been tossed off the cliff, yes, she still has a parachute though which is whether or not she's found a new love with fucboi, it's the final missing piece that determines the the rest of story's course.

You know there is more story to tell for instance yes the author can move them back together again with time real relationships are in fact fragile things in particular when the two are youthful. We could see how shinobu becomes a director a successful movie director eventually meeting sakura again who has a relationship with fuckboi built on sex and a lie I don't see it lasting long.

At the end of the day, Sakura is nothing but an ungrateful slut who's ready to betray at any moment. Stop idealizing her to the point of treating chapter 129 like it's the final chapter.

This can more or less be achieved in a singular movie arch imo, and 129 has certainly demonstrated the fragility of relationships. I'm just way more interested in a story of recovery for ShiKura rather than both accepting their reality in oddly similar fashion.

I wouldn't say she responded we to slut a slut opens her leg to every man and no she didn't do that she is young and naive it's easy to take advantage of her and shinobu kept people from doing just that most of the time yes she did shinobu dirty and cut him deep but she wasn't a slut as far as we know she has only had sex with two men ever.

As hard as it is to say sakura isn't like Arir's other female characters.

If she had just had a few ex-boyfriends and slept with them, I'd just view her as someone who's really into sex. But here, she was totally ready to throw away everything Shinobu did for her and cheat without a second thought. She completely crossed a moral line.

She's the one under the impression that's she's being cast aside, and mr fucboi took great advantage of that. 2 things she misunderstood: Shinobu wanting to quit being her manager, and Shinobu having an affair with Fumi.

It was a little more than she wanted to cheat on shinobu and her character is inscrutable on purpose so until we get her thoughts on all this which is likely where nagi comes in she will be someone sakura can talk with that is mostly unbiased about it all we will not really know why she did what she did.

Well if all goes well he is about to raw dog fumi. Plot twist fumi gets pregnant because she can't get enough of shinobu's dick turns out Sakura was cucked.

Question is is he moving on with fumi or simply taking comfort were he can after being aboundond by the woman he loved and I just realized that Sakura did to shinobu what she feared he would do to her.
by any means shinobu doesnt look like he search for comfort in fumi at all. He was already attracted toi her and if he didnt had feelings for her he wouldnt kiss her and be in the position he is now.

Not a single person has said 129 didn't complicate things. The complications of ShiFumi going all the way also aren't that deep and is actually quite comedic, "I never cheated on you but after our breakup I did finally get together with the girl that caused our breakup because she has bigger tits, glasses, and said she loves me so let's just get that cleared up".

This is almost an exceptionally rare comic element in this arc: Sakura misunderstands the past (part of it), yet correctly anticipates the future. Her feminine intuition does not even need to know that, in Chapter 109, while she stayed up all night searching for the necklace Shinobu-kun had given her, Fumi was spending the night asleep with her arms around her naked boyfriend. Of course, Shinobu-kun’s secrecy regarding Fumi is impeccable. He has even prepared himself mentally for the possibility that “if I really had sex with Fumi while drunk, I need to apologize to her properly, and then I can never see her again.” Naturally, he would never tell Sakura—just as he buries every private interaction he has had with Fumi deep in his heart.

Of course, the author gives Shinobu-kun the same kind of setup: in Chapter 109, Shinobu-kun misunderstands Sakura’s past relationship with Nakanishi-kun—he thinks she cheated on him, when in fact she was only looking for the necklace—yet he also correctly anticipates the future.

Sakura believes that Shinobu-kun has abandoned her both professionally and emotionally—partly because of Shinobu-kun’s concealment, and partly because of Sakura’s own misunderstandings—and she falls apart.

During his depression, Shinobu-kun repeatedly suffers over the unspoken reality that Sakura has abandoned him both professionally and emotionally. Readers with an omniscient perspective, of course, know that he is doing terribly.

Yet the comic effect resurfaces a few months later in another intriguing form: Shinobu-kun does not contact Fumi for several months. Logically, that should mean a return to reason and a cooling-off period, but instead things heat up—within two hours of seeing Fumi again, Shinobu-kun makes her squirt, so long as Fumi takes the initiative.

Those blank months are agonizing for Shinobu-kun and Sakura’s old relationship, but for Shinobu-kun and Fumi’s relationship, they might as well not exist: even with absolutely no contact, they cause no negative effect whatsoever, and the relationship resumes seamlessly.

In Chapter 130, after Shinobu-kun and Fumi search all night without finding anything, they are at the filming location. Even after confirming that Shinobu-kun’s girlfriend is Sakura, Fumi uses the shoot as a pretext to voice her true feelings: “I want you to look only at me.” Shinobu-kun, who should be distraught over Sakura’s unknown whereabouts, instead blushes at the same time as Fumi after they look at each other, and turns his head away.

The author is clearly using similar narrative techniques throughout to portray these complex character relationships: unless you have an omniscient perspective, the people at the center of events do not necessarily see the truth.

But not seeing the truth does not mean being unable to sense it.

The story isn't going to go on that long if Fumi route is fully locked in, even if they tried to give it more chapters of Fumi it will be repetitive and boring with arguably only 1 interesting arch (movie) before there's just nothing left in the story to resolve, everyone went their separate ways and found their own happily ever after, the end. Nothing against Fumi the character, but choosing her is just a lazy white flag moment for this manga, running from a problem.
Speculation. Choosing slutkura can also lead to just a reconcilation and than an end. Its on ak to decide. She can go with fumi route and still milk it.

Are your predictions for 133 the same as the majority right now? Glad you pointed out the parallels between Shinobu/Sakura as well as the differences with Fumi and it just makes it more bittersweet.

Agreed, both can definitely be milked as AK sees fit, guess it depends on if the story has run its course or not. Fumi is the short run fix, Sakura the long run.

Honestly that also begs the question. Is it possible for Nagi to still have lingering feelings for Shinobu still?

It's been a long time so her moving on won't be a surprise but what if? It could act as an inspiration to help Shinobu one more time so ensure his happiness. Depending on how all this gets tackled.
