Well, being able to sell a story, being able to write a compiling story and being actually a good writer are not the same thing.

Katsura Airi created a compelling story that keeps people invested. But she is a very poor writer. If this story didn't have any NTR, it would be an unremarkable rom-com like the hundreds that are currently serialized in Japan.

When a manga is properly written we discuss the characters out of immersion. Here half the time we discuss KA decisions and her frequent use of the Idiot Ball to make characters do what she needs.

Very true, I made that statement more out of sarcasm than try to back the notion that KA is a good writer.

Wait was the cafe meeting really a few days after? I thought it was the same day/morning after. Yes I do agree that fucboi is very intentionally shown to have odd faces/actions throughout 128~131, it has to lead somewhere and fucboiXSakura being an item will be the most disappointing outcome.

I think people would hate it a lot if she made the two of them ending up together.Because this two are the most hate characters by miles and probaly the biggest responsible for the people started dropping this manga

I did some more thinking on that one and I think we were shown she is lonely without shinobu it wasn't her reminiscing about her time with him doing modeling but her feeling alone without him.

I think is almost 100% of chance that both of them has ligering fellings for each other(Sakura and Shinobu)

I don't pay attention to the talking because Shinobu just kept licking her non-stop, so how can they talked effectively? LOL

However, I do notice that the KISSES like @box2024 point out. The feelings are different, especially when compare to chapter 102.

Also, I do place importance on the words "I love you." IMHO, I believe the relationship between Shinobu and Fumi hasn't reached the level of love, rather it's a matter of taking responsibility. Fumi claimed she had never experienced love, so she asked for practicing with Shinobu, leading to the kiss and the misunderstanding. This implies that Shinobu is her first love.

About the fucboy character, unless chapter 129 is retconned to clarify that he didn't rape Sakura, I don't believe he’ll have a future role because Japanese fans loathe him intensely especially after what he did in chapters 129 and 130.

The fucboy character is ruined already. I doubt the author and publisher would risk alienating the fanbase by bringing him back into a storyline with Sakura, considering that even Sakura alone already draws hateful abuse and negative interpretations of her every action.

There must be no FMC in "romcom" manga being raped ! So, in chapter 129, Sakura must survive in the last minute as she did before. Maybe, Sakura stopped because of Shinobu’s call or if the fucboy acted like a gentleman. Instead he pinned Sakura’s wrists so she couldn't escape, forced a kiss on her and proceeded to rape her continuously until morning.

That behavior made readers loathe him. If it were truly consensual lovemaking, why would he need to pin her arms down to prevent her from pushing him away or fleeing and kiss her after she said "Shinobu" to not let her say his name again? It was obvious forced sex or rape that make many Japanese readers hate him till now!

The fucboy character can't be used anymore unless the chapter 129 is modified.

Anyway, I’ve noticed that Shinobu is only interested in innocent girls who have never had a boyfriend, so he turned down Nagi, Mio, and Hana who are not virgin anymore. LOL (Just kidding).

Nicely detailed breakdown once again. It really isn't about what the reality/legality of 129 was but how it made readers feel. Your last statement made me also spit my coffee out, well played/written.

After they sleep together, Shinobu does not immediately leave, nor do they awkwardly distance themselves from each other. He stays at Fumi’s home and continues writing his script, while Fumi rests peacefully beside him.

This quiet scene carries several meanings.
I believe this scene represents more than just Shinobu and Fumi officially becoming a couple. It is showing that *Fumi has entered the most private and essential part of Shinobu’s life and creative world. *

First, Fumi has become part of Shinobu’s everyday life.

Sex is only the clearest sign that their relationship has changed. What matters more is what happens afterward.

One person works while the other sleeps nearby. This is no longer a scene driven by passion, but something close to domestic life. Fumi does not need to constantly entertain or please Shinobu, and Shinobu does not feel neglected simply because she has fallen asleep. They can naturally share the same space.

Their relationship is moving from mutual support, to romance and physical intimacy, and then toward something resembling a life partnership.

Second, Shinobu does not stop creating after becoming intimate with Fumi.

He continues writing the script, which suggests that Fumi’s love does not make him lose himself or abandon his goals. Instead, her presence gives him a safe and peaceful environment in which he can continue creating.

In his relationship with Sakura, Shinobu was constantly giving, filming for her, helping her career, and dealing with her problems. Much of his life revolved around supporting Sakura. With Fumi, however, he can remain beside her while still focusing on his own work.

Fumi is not someone who requires Shinobu to sacrifice himself in order to take care of her. She is someone who allows Shinobu to continue being himself.

Third, Fumi feels completely safe beside Shinobu.

The fact that she can sleep peacefully after they have confirmed their physical relationship suggests that she no longer fears that Shinobu will suddenly leave. She does not need to keep checking whether he truly loves her.

Fumi has long understood that Shinobu and Sakura share a deep history. For her to fall asleep beside him now symbolizes that she finally believes:



And Shinobu truly does remain there.

Fourth, the scene may be written as a direct contrast to Sakura and Nakanishi’s relationship.

Sakura and Nakanishi’s relationship is mainly connected to lust, escape, confusion, and self-destruction. Even though they have a physical relationship, it does not naturally create emotional stability or a peaceful shared life.

Shinobu and Fumi are presented in the opposite way. After sex, there is no emptiness, guilt, or emotional distance. Instead, there is creativity, sleep, and quiet companionship.

That may be emphasizing that Nakanishi gained access to Sakura’s body, but never truly understood her. Fumi, on the other hand, has not only given herself physically to Shinobu; she has also entered his dreams, his daily life, and his creative world.

Their intimacy is the result of a relationship that has gradually developed. It is not a tool for escaping from emotional problems.

Fifth, Fumi may now be both the source of Shinobu’s inspiration and the first person who shares his creative process.

The fact that Shinobu writes beside her may symbolize that the story he is creating is no longer only about processing his past with Sakura. He is now reinterpreting that past while being supported by Fumi.

Sakura may still remain an important model or source of inspiration within the script, but the person who stays beside Shinobu while he writes it is now Fumi.

That is especially cruel from Sakura’s perspective:

She may still exist inside Shinobu’s work, but she no longer exists in his present life.

Overall, this scene feels like that is formally declaring that Fumi is no longer merely a substitute who helped Shinobu recover from his wounds. She is the partner Shinobu has chosen in the present.

The truly decisive image is not the sex itself, but the peaceful moment afterward. Shinobu is writing his future, while Fumi sleeps safely beside him. They do not consume or damage each other, and they do not need dramatic promises to prove their relationship. Their quiet closeness already resembles the life of a married couple.

From a narrative perspective, this makes Shinobu and Fumi’s relationship extremely difficult to reverse. Even if Shinobu later speaks honestly with Sakura, understands her pain, or forgives her, that would more likely serve as closure for the past rather than a restoration of their romantic relationship.

Sakura is the past Shinobu still needs to finish writing.

Fumi is the person who remains beside him while he continues writing the rest of his life.

I have a theory on how this ends I unfortunately do think sakura will end up with fuckboi and Arir will recycle the plot with having Sakura see shionbu and fumi looking like a happy couple reinforcing her belief that he was cheating on her and has really abandoned her this will drive her to accept fuckbois confession in full. Rolled by shinobu and fumi shinobu will likely read about or see this and believe Sakura has fully moved on from him and he wasn't good enough to help her accomplish her dreams causing him to accept fumi in full it would be a bitter sweet ending for him losing his first love but gaining someone who is fully in love with him and trusts him completely. Of course for that to work they can't communicate properly with one another nor can the truth be known that way sakura can never know how deep she cut shionbu nor that fuckboi is the one who delivered that final blow so if that where to change how I think this ends will change as well.

Withold some judgment til 134! (I say this every time but this time fr fr). Also with the timeskip being a thing, it's likely Sakura has already answered to the confession, I doubt it's dragged this long. Shinobu already thinks Sakura has moved on and is doing well without him as he kept up with any news he could find on her. The manga is not ending with thing locked into the state as they are now.

Fumi and shionbu move together it's more of a it's happening moment not a shionbu is making it happen. It is one difference yes but like I keeps saying there are differences with how shinobu approaches sex and how fuckboi dose shinobu understands what sex is ment to mean to a woman fuckboi dose not that's why he understands fumi's feelings where fuckboi doesn't understand sakura's. Question is what will shinobu decide same for sakura until we hear those three words spoken ( I love you ) things will go on.

I don't think Shinobu moves in to stay with Fumi as a couple. It's too soon. I think it's staying over because her room is near the place they meet the producer. Shinobu kills two bird with one stone staying with her from time to time. I don't think they're officially dating. Fumi didn't ask to be his girlfriend, she asked him to know her better though it's for the script writing. All are reasons why Shinobu writes the script at her place. It's for his work he stays there, not for the love.
