normally you would think its better to see yourself in the orignal style of drawing would be preferrable but seeing your own real face next to your fave does have a different kind of charm like a selfie.

It's difficult to tell; I mean, this IS a manga, drawn in manga style. If the inline manga drawing of her was photorealistic, it would still look the same

I personally prefer the latter so it "fits" more in that world

Doesn't look like it. I know the group doing this manga said there would be a LN unofficial translation, but if the WN scene (in general) is anything to go by, that could be largely LLM based.
Don't get me wrong, I am extremely grateful for the translations that ARE out there (as the alternative is effectively nothing) but the fact nowns and often entire paragraphs are just missing (for example, the iconic "mother who gave birth to you" line, in this case) is frustrating
