I don't think they're heartbroken about Iruma being a human, I think its more the fact that he was forced to tell them his secret before he was ready to and hating themselves for being in shock and not saying anything to him before he was taken away, likely for them to never see him again.

It wouldn't be unreasonable to expect that fresh blood could overpower it. One could easily make your same point while arguing that people thinking the perfume is some absolute protection are the problem.

Occam's razor is not a symmetry breaker here. You are applying it incorrectly.

To be crystal clear, your explanation may very well be correct, so you don't need to sell it to me. I'm pointing out that there are other defensible views that account for the perfume given what we've actually been told about it. You might be right, but you also might not be. It isn't settled, and those who disagree with you aren't necessarily overlooking something major.

And I can't be sure what you're referring to with the parenthetical. If it's his entrance ceremony spell, we're told (and it's shown) that it's just a spell to prevent falling over for a day. If it's something else, you'll have to refresh me; my recall of hundreds of chapters/multiple years earlier in the story is not actually encyclopedic.

I think the introduction of the Flower Dieties(or whatever their called), is the my only problem with the story so far but at the same time it is the only possible force to make everything go completely bad in our Antagonist's favor. I just don't like their original introduction and the feeling that a force greater then the 3 or 13 existed but only gets mentioned for them to used by thunderman. They are almost a mcguffin level of importance but have not been a part of the story long enough to feel like it.

They do have a similar head and eye shape, but without more visible details I'm not sure if the resemblance is supposed to be that strong. I haven't kept up with the anime, but it hasn't got that far yet, right? Do we know what color Shura's hair or eyes are?
