Normally I would jump in and throw cold water on this with reality BUT with only two chapters to go things being rushed who the hell knows for certain. I mean I fully expect to be disappointed still.

You have a solid footing in both teams and are well adjusted enough that you're more than fine, you'll be happy with ShiFumi, and the your inner romantic wins out if its Shikura.

I mean the story beetwen 133 to 134 was really incoherent so i can still see a Sakura and Shinobu ending happening in such rushed way.

I noticed a few things in chapter 134.
First, Sakura is actually capable of getting angry and arguing with that playboy, so why did she just stand there silently before while the blonde and the playboy badmouthed Shinobu? Was it because Sakura herself was dissatisfied with Shinobu at the time, and those people just happened to say exactly what she wanted to hear?
As for Shinobu, he feels like he doesn't want to see Fumi get 'intimate' with another guy, even if it could boost his own reputation, which proves that his love for Fumi is not shallow.
It seems Sakura and the playboy have a relationship, but they aren't living together; the formal way Sakura stands and talks to him feels like an employee meeting their boss. The apartment is actually quite small, seemingly just for one person, and Sakura doesn't look comfortable, like it's not a 'this is my home' vibe at all.
Regarding Fumi, her insecurity is totally justified—when you love your boyfriend too much and know that he once had deep feelings for his ex, it's completely natural to lack confidence; in this case, all it takes is for Shinobu to talk to her and give her that reassurance.
As for the sex scene offered to Shinobu, what's under the blanket isn't what everyone says—like the two actors having to be completely naked and the male actor taking advantage of it to have sex with Fumi. In reality, both actors might wear pants and only expose their upper bodies, with Fumi wearing a skin-toned strapless bra. It's simply that Shinobu doesn't want to see Fumi being 'intimate' with anyone else.

I think the Fumi situation is way easier to solve than Sakura's but this chapter how Sakura values her time with Shinobu and how he was important to her for his career.And we see that she probably is not happy being a actress and she values her gravature work.

Everything hints at her gravitating back into gravure but maybe she catches everyone by surprise next chapter. Surprise agency transfer? Breakup with fucboi? Seeks out Shinobu finally after all this time to talk who knows? The possibilities are all sitting at a nonzero since the ending chapter count is now set and the writers can do anything to reach their intended ending.

Major writing inconsistency from 133 to 134. Oh well Mio did good this chapter so she gets a pass for being all-knowing. Hoping she plays a continued role in the remaining chapters and does more than just sit in Sakura's corner, maybe call Shinobu for once.

Hate Reiji all you want but the man has successfully managed to get not just one or two or three anime seasons adaption of his manga
He got SIX friggin SEASONS, a live action and his manga sells like hot cakes.
And on top of that he made a side project with a new work and it quickly got an anime adaptation.
And like it or not that takes pure skill.

I'm ngl by sex scene I think it can only mean actual sex with this author, it's not like perfect blue levels of writing where it's not actual sex but an allegory for another thing. Would be interesting though.

I think the main issue everyone knows with rent a gf is the mc is just plain awful. It's like the author has everything pretty good when the mc(also chizuru usually) are not on screen, but when he is it all just is eh imo. His art is insane though sometimes lol, I'd never torture myself with the anime though (i can respect them animating the ntr sequence tho even if its speed blitzed past. I've nearly never seen ntr done by a major studio). I'd really want to try another work by the author with a diff mc

Yea rent a gf is a strange series. The art can be amazing at times or completely simple. The plot xan be interesting like with mami and sometimes the character backstory can be unique like with ruka. I think the main issue everyone knows with rent a gf is the mc is just plain awful. Reiji's another MC(Arata) is way opposite from Kazuya.In a better way.

Right now i don't think Kazuya is that strange mc anymore,of course he still has his weird moments but is way better than before

Yea kazuya in the anime feels bad but he's definitely matured better in the most recent manga chapters with the ruka drama lol, still kinda iffy on him.

Author did a flip this time where Shinobu's thoughts are more obscured, and Sakura's made more open. When Fumi brought up Sakura we see the hesitation in Shinobu as they awkwardly stop the conversation there and now he's wandering around the city at night pondering, maybe he'll see advertisements featuring Sakura in the next chapter and run into her who knows. Ships debating aside Team Fumi'ers can rest assured, back when Nisekoi was still serializing I was firmly Team Onodera and look where that ended, it's almost a similar situation.

I remember reading the finale nisekoi chapter in class🥀 this man walked past onodera and my heart dropped man😭 it ruined my whole day...

No slander towards Chitoge at all, but Onodera deserved the win, least she was happy for them and baked that huge ahh cake. Need Fumi to embrace some of that Onodera energy now that I think about it.
