But if slutkura is hated this much the best way to get better sales on the last volume is to let shinobu end with fumi lol it doesnt make any sense to let shinobu end up with slutkura just because she is the "fmc"... i will hope just this last two times in airi that slutkura doesnt get back together with shinobu and that fumi ends up with shinobu IF she becomes normal the next chapter
She went with flow during all the story.(only few rare times that she was rational)

It really will depend on the circumstances when/if that moment of truth hits but I can seen them making it not too forced and maybe Kodansha decreed and MCxFMC end cope. How much raw emotion and suffering will Sakura go through, what will she decide to do, is Shinobu around and how does he feel when he sees Sakura.
I mean the last chapters played perfectly well in my hopes of fumi and shinobu ending up so the last two times airi gonna become a master chess player again. I believe in her. Fuck slutkura without redemption there is no happy end with shinobu
I think someone already brought up the fact that the last Volume will have less pages then the rest had. So we can pretty much expect an "Epilogue" ch in it... That would also be a smart move by the publisher as it will probably boost a bit of the sales in the end.
No better chance now to subvert expectations then, like her doing more than just accepting that seggs scene role (don't worry im mostly coping on this one idea).

I think they'll force a reunion as a cliffchanger for 135.That would make people hyped for the last chapter.I don't see that manga receving an extra chapter here.

I don't mind it feeling a bit forced, if the redemption is miraculously done right things can flip just like from chapter to chapter. How the characters react will be important imo.

Nah, the reunion will happen in these 2 ch for sure. But them reconciling or just being each others support could happen after a big time skip in an epilogue. Stuff like that is normal, i'd say it more rare to not have some sort of epilogue in the last volume of a manga.
Oh yea the last few panels does look like the most random meeting could happen because of Mio, 50/50 on that one though for me.
Man, I really don't think there's going to be a redemption, there isn't enough time or enough chapters to pull one. I think it'll be unsatisfying.
They will crank the pacing if needed for certain things. Satisfying or not will be up to the individual reader. The most unsatisfying thing is actually there not being a redemption because that would require Sakura never learning the truth and ending the manga as one of the most hated FMC in a "rom com" in a 3 year serialization effort based around her.
