It's just the unfortunate reality that there's a lot of people that have dream jobs that they can't take because those jobs don't pay well enough for them to live off of them. For example I know someone whose dream job is being a kindergarten teacher and luckily their able to have that job because their husband has a well-paying job and so they don't have to worry about money. They have talked to me about how if their husband didn't have such a well-paying job there is no way they would be able to be a kindergarten teacher due how poorly it pays.
