"If it'll help you as a director". pg5. @SS-2010 Your explanation was really good and its true that neither of them are using nicknames for each other but the only time Fumi refers to Shinobu as director isn't her calling out to him but rather just saying if it'll help him in his role as the director, so the nuance might've shifted a little bit here after I re-read it.

Basing this all on the EN TL, I don't know how if it changes with the original JP. In the end the result is still the same, conversation ending as awkwardly as the fucboiXSakura one to match.

Your explanations were really good. Just a minor detail error that probably won't affect much in the grand scheme of things. Fumi does give Shinobu some "tender looks" and Shinobu does blush a bit with their conversation being not nearly as cold and distant as the fucboiXSakura convo we see in the same chapter. End result is the same though, both "ships" taking hits this chapter big or small leaving the field more open to different possibilities.

The more I think about it, I have no clue how 135 will go but I'm oddly in favor of both sub plots either merging or getting entirely sidelined for something completely different, like some fun drama, because everything is going to be rushed, don't waste time trying to tell the story from two different on-going sub plots.

Can't say much more until 135, but in 134 you can see the setup on both sides in how they are still loosely mirroring one another, it's been a small pattern for the last 6 chapters. The most interesting conflict left in the story isn't even the ending ships debates but just Shinobu and Sakura crossing paths again and laying out their feelings (I am so overly sentimental with this but bear with).

Well I can see Sakura leaving fuckboi eventually yes but it's hard to see her getting back with shinobu I can see her wanting to but being hung up on her thinking her cheated on her plus it's hard to see HIM wanting to get back with her. Story wise.

I don't think we've been really shown enough how Shinobu feels about Sakura right now and at the end of this chapter you can see he's mentally at a bit of a crossroads and then it shows the 3 of them to close it out. If Sakura cuts off fucboi and does still have feelings for Shinobu then that's a big step already but clearing up the misunderstanding is the biggest obstacle. In short, just have them see each other, and let the magic happen if it's still there, main character magic bs plot armor time.

An ignorant, unfaithful female lead who still has the nerve to go back to the male lead, and a cowardly, terrible male lead who welcomes back a woman who cheated on him, only to abandon the girl who loves him more than anything in the world.

I want to see if something more still lingers between the two, whether their reunion will trigger a spark, and if it becomes something that we'd call love again and it wants to be silly than we can't complain. Again though Fumi has the advantage, and Sakura hasn't even stepped onto the playing field so it might end up being no contest anyway, but these two chapters are potentially about to be whack going by the ending pages.

Sorry, I think it's important because we still don't know whether Shinobu and Fumi's relationship has improved, and it affects to the chance of ending up together. If Fumi changed to call "Shinobu-san" instead of "director", it means they're going out. The chance for Sakura to return will be closed.

A good point you make but nothing was shown I don't think, and the ending of their conversation would've had the same damaging effect if not even greater. Only thing we know is it's Sakura Fumi and Shinobu taking up the ending pages.

If you force their to return, you must convince the readers that "THEIR MUTUAL LOVE" conquers everything and Fumi sacrifices herself for Shinobu to be happy.

Since no redraws are ever happening at this point, if they do intend for Shikura then look forward to how they think a fitting redemption and reconciliation looks like because I can't see it atm, but if the writer and artist together can convey enough raw emotions after all this time and get the right feelings across, readers will have accept it. Fumi does have an inclincation to self sacrifice, even when confessing to Shinobu she didn't want to tie him down and said its ok if it's just for the script. Now for her next act she can say "It's ok I'll wait for the bonus chapter!" (mean joker sorry).

Honestly, i dont really understand with many of readers still expecting that sakura somehow had sex with with yuma only on that fateful night and not the nights after, and also the expectation that somehow she still harbour feelings to shinobu. A tearful reconciliation between the two for the finale? with fumi as the casualty. Surreal.

Almost half a year without news, nor any effort to clarify the so called misunderstanding. Just as simple as unblock him and fumi and send message of how do you do? This is absurd level of gatekeeping from the author for the sake of protecting sakuras image to the readers and leave it hanging for future plot device. Whaaat?

Those months she spent building fragile love between her and yuma while shinobu grieved watching his world collapsed before his eyes and start thinking about what reasons left to continue? His dream is what keeps him alive, not sakura.

On chapter 134, the way i see it that she already accustomed with yuma presence and had lovers quarrel there. Don't even matter that if she lived there or in her agency office, had sex with yuma every night or just on weekends at his place, dont care at all. In my own perception she had lost everything worth lingering for, and why shouldnt shinobu move on also with his own life? Even if he lose fumi in the future, he wilk never lose his dream again.

Ok ending:
shinobu with nobody and becoming another scheming ntr villain director. shinobu with both fumi and sakura harem if she pull through the trial. shinobu with fumi only

shinobu and sakura reset everything
