Sakura has power of FMC, if the redemption is handled well enough the outrage won't be as bad as you'd imagine imo, but again with little time and pages, ice is thin. Bonus points if they're smart enough to include and Fumi happy end bonus chapter.

Yeah, that's why I think ShinobuxSakura will be hated no matter what they do, there aren't enough chapters to create something good.

Thing is I'm torn on it to get sakura and shionbu back together you have to hurt fumi whose feelings are genuine and pure.
That is the bad part of it and would be really unfair for her because she genually support him more than ever Sakura did the whole manga.
It will take some miracles and a joint effort between the writer AND the artist, but it can happen even with just two chapters if it's done well. Those who are still unhappy with it were always wanting to be unhappy in the end anyway because of shipping wars.
A fraction of it is definitely stained by guilty or else this chapter makes 0 sense with that conversation.
Sakura has been there for 120+ chapters for Shinobu as an emotional support anchor if nothing else, which empowered Shinobu to do the things he did and get him to a point where he does meet Fumi. Won't contest that Fumi does good but she wasn't there for him during his months of depression in the time skip, and she really only comes through when it's work related.
The problem is that doesn't exist a shipping wars because 95% of the readers want Fumi to be with Shinobu and her FMC is more hated than anything.
Her biggest problem here is her insecurities towards Sakura.The easier way to solve that is just Shinobu reasures her that he moved on from Sakura and loves her.
Sakura redemption moment + truth bomb hasn't landed yet, opinions can flip just like that.
If writers intended ShiFumi then the bait this chapter is diabolical, but nah I'm vibing Shikura to the end ofc.
Well, if we're going to look at it that way, we could say that Sakura also only remembers Shinobu because of work, first because she was asked about her days as a gravure model, and then because of the offer for the sex scene
No this isn't entirely true shionbu was in contact with no one during these months and fumi isn't pushy with him she was also there at his lowest point in life because he still seems to feel the need to sacrifice himself for Sakura his thoughts are still on sakura up until the point fumi confess's to him.
He will more likely run into Sakura before he can have that conversation with Fumi, again mirroring what happened 6 chapters ago loosely if we think about it. Darkly comedic.
KA won't end this manga leaving Sakura hated as she is.
See that's why I'm torn on the two we have followed the romance between shinobu and Sakura for this long but fumi was there for shionbu at what is arguably his lowest point in life being cheated on by the love of his life who he has supported all this time over a misunderstanding on her part versus fumi who was there to pick him up and give him new purpose
I have said this before but I think Arir is saving that for the big final of what dose shionbu decide.
She had supported him sometimes but She made way more stupid mistakes than helped so that does not make a good evaluation for her.
