My only issue with taking the Fumi angle to truth bomb Sakura is that Fumi doesn't know the full details, I doubt Shinobu told her about the meeting with fucboi. So just having Sakura and Shinobu meet directly would still be more effective imo

Shinobu has just started to focus on other things. Shifting to continue his life now. Sakura is no doubt still in mind but not as much of a priority as other things from what we've seen so far.

Granted this could change the moment he sees her.

I think it had more impact than you're thinking because he literally reduced her work was gravature and coincidentally her journey to get where she is right now.(That was what mio pointed in car conversation)

And like some pointed he didn't
show any emotional support he just like Shinobu used to do and we saw how she valued that support from Shinobu in both aspects of her life.

Feelings yes maybe but it's not like they are an official couple yet yes there was sex but with how fumi asked for it it was no strings attached ( even if it's just for the script know me better) see she isn't asking him to love her back even though she states she loves him. I think in Shinobu's case i think he developed some fellings for Fumi and my reason for it is that he accept do sex with Fumi and like we saw in the story he is not a impulsive guy who does that with any girl.Nagi and Mio cases were a good example for that because he had strong fellings for Sakura.

Funny thing is I can see Sakura getting back together in the end causing just as much anger as 129 because of how much fumi is liked it would feel like we would be getting netorare'd again which is why I can see it happening. I would be okay with that ending and fucking hate it at the same time so I must give Arir some accolades for invoking such strong emotions.
