It's very strange that the author expected the audience to laugh at any of this. It's clear that the setup was intended to be comedic, but that doesn't make any of the actual follow-through funny.

Idk man, I found this chapter really funny. Like every character is so over-the-top cartoonishly extreme in their behaviour I can't really get mad over anything. Then there's the over-the-top bodily fluids of any kind being excreted all the time, like how could anyone take this seriously? It's obviously intended to be comedic and the execution seems good to me.
