Thank you, but I can read Japanese, and I always read the original chapter first, and I can tell you this translation is trash. If you're fine with unreadable slop, then good for you, but I hope a majority of readers actually care about quality.

This may come as a shock to you, but people read translations in order to actually understand the story, not just to have the speech bubbles contain English words.

What is "too long"? Is waiting a month or less really that hard? Also "groups"? plural?

You fucked up through upscale which lol, lmao why? Just put your AI over the bubbles and leave the rest alone. Why would you fuck with the rest of the page when you don't need to? These aren't single mistakes. A single mistake is a typo or a missed page. Not a whole chapter snipe.

People can just filter over a page with AI themselves which is why you're getting dunked on. The expectation is a translation that's actually good and quality because it takes actual effort and knowledge to do it. Listen to the criticism. Be an adult. How do the numerous incidents in which a new group posts a lower quality translation than an existing group not clue you in that you were gonna experience some hate. I'm not even mad at you posting this like other people, I just read a couple pages of your translation and stopped cuz i wanted to wait for the higher quality version and didnt think much of it, but like how are you surprised that there was gonna be a negative reaction.

Your 'advice' is horseshit tho, you're knowingly posting a worse work than the existing group and expecting people not to comment negatively about a negative aspect. People will never not talk about it so don't go in expecting people to listen to you telling them to NOT talk.

I'd suggest translating a work that has no group translating it if you want a more appreciative reception. Keep translating this if you want, more power to ya, but don't act surprised if the flaws are focused on when there's something to compare it to.

Were you expecting glowing praise for this? I don’t see anyone expressing “hatred” in the comments, just a desire for higher quality. Even not knowing Japanese it’s pretty clear that this loses a vast majority of the meaning. Good translations take time, shoving out what really seems like AI is just confusing and detracts from the people putting in serious effort.

Get this AI shizz outta here. This is plain disrespect. Im sorry man but this isn't it, you're sacrificing nuance for a lackluster output. I dont think many have been complaining about how the updates take so long because most understand that the previous translators know how to keep the nuance of the translation that's integral to the story. I've read remarks about a bs argument about the dubious legality of all this endeavor and thus complaints are unwarranted, if not legally then morally, as respect to the artistry, the least translators could do is give the translation justice so that they could make the readers, that can afford to support the artist, actually want to buy the artist's work.

If you're not satisfied with the frequency of uploads then read the Japanese version itself. Literally I have never seen anyone here mad at how long updates take. Sure there are remarks made but they are done so in a constructive and respectfully-I-want-more way, no one is mad mad. The story/art is so worthwhile that people are bummed for the infrequent updates, yet will literally patiently wait because they know it takes time to do good work, and they respect that the translators have a life outside of translating. If you want to give a hand in translating to speed up the process then ask permission from the translators that are actively picking up the manga, and lend assistance maybe. And if you want to translate it yourself, at the least, do a good job, literally the bare minimum. (That's unless if you just chucked this to AI for translation, then leave this series alone.)

Learn what is hate and what is criticism. No one attacked you personally, no one said anything mean, no one even called you a sniper - except the person, who tried to "defend" your work.
You should just accept, that we live in a day and age, where AI slop is not welcomed and people would rather wait a tad bit longer for proper, human scanlation, than get "English words in speech bubbles" (even tho in some places we aren't even getting that). Like a person above me wrote - you are trying to solve a problem, that does not exists.
And do not even try responding to me with "but I didn't use AI", because - my lord - what the fuck means "are you learning any talent right now?"... There is no way in hell, that any human being would read that and says "yup, that sentence makes sense".
