I honestly want Chico to be the one who gives sakura the reality check not only because she is probably the only one who might still believe in Shinobu but also because she will "calmly" (like dumbeldore did) talk to Sakura and explain Shinobu's side.

Chico used to be an important character in the story, but he's barely appeared in the last few chapters. Let's remember that she was in love with the MC and gave him up for Sakura. So it would be possible

The more im thinking about this the more I think its going to be a bs open ending. Its the simplest cop out possible so... I expect that to happen.

Maybe a time skip with the last few pages being the young daughter talking about mommy or something, without naming who it is. Then a zoom in shot on a photo, from waist down, of Shinobu, his daughter and the mom holding hands. Again, you can't see who the mom is. Then the final frame you see some long dark hair and can't see if its fumi or Sakura, they grew their hair out, and just a close up on the smile or something. The end.

This is how a lot of shit ends nowadays right? Letting people head cannon who they want (including the author).

Could be the angle for the conclusion in 136, I wouldn't mind as much as long as KA doesn't keep tip toe'ing around Sakura suffering like she has been with the "oh no! the people I'm with now don't support me as much as Shinobu" bs all of a sudden after months.

Airi always does close endings so i think it will not be different here.

Some creators do benefit from doing that, I think SAO creator does the same thing. Either way KA can self-insert all she likes, but ending this manga now with Sakura's reputation still 10 degrees below freezing hell is a bad choice no matter how stubborn and egotistical of a writer KA wants to be.

There is nothing to indicate KA won't screw this up, in fact, all the evidence points to the contrary based on what we've seen so far in this Manga
