Look it at this way, if we get through another 30+ pages within minutes of the next chapter dropping, then you'll know something wacky happened in it.

Part of me kinda wants Shinobu and Sakura to reconcile just so I can laugh at the sheer wackiness of the whole situation.

Considering there's two chapters left, if we get a Sakura and Shinobu cliffhanger, odds are that it will be setup for a magical reconciliation while Fumi gets dicked down.

As funny as that'd be to imagine Airi trying write out, the worst thing happening to Fumi is that she "steps down". The actual worst things that can still happen would be Shinobu losing the director job because he refuses to do the shoot for the scene.

It's a very low chance, producer doesn't seem like an asshole to do this over some creative difference, just entertaining a slim possibility here of "how else can Airi torture Shinobu". I think Shinobu will have to let Fumi do the scene though, unless Sakura magically comes in as a double for the 1 scene, not seeing any other workarounds.
