It's not like they didn't have a bad encounter with each other. Sakura could be doing it out of kindness for Fumi..

But the insecurity may just make her fuck up again. But we just have one possible chapter left so we can't really theorize how things may go honestly.

That would fit in 20ish pages, and If we're lucky maybe we get an epilogue in vol 14 for some kind of conclusion... Even though i think we will probably get Chico losing her virginity for real this time as a bonus.

Most awkward timing for a bait, since next chapter Sakura probably comes back more into focus just the tiniest bit at least, compared to this chapter. Damage is already done as well, but there is the chance for recovery still but it depends on Shinobu's feelings now.

Honestly the writing is on the wall sakura X fuckboi stays because you know forcing your way into a relationship is ok as long as your pretty shionbu x fumi is out because of sakura's shadow and shionbu being unable to forget a girl who has forgotten him. Funny thing is the only pic of Arir I have seen she is mid at best nothing stands out so it funny seeing her with this fantasy of getting a top 1% guy it seem japan has the same problem as all other western woman. Doesn't even mater at this point. I doubt anything serious will happen since this is a high budget movie set, not some amateur production. But she is now a big red flag, and the direction is clearly moving towards them breaking up after this just to push a Shinobu x Sakura reunion.
