I hate this fucking manga. What a shitshow. I’ll read the last chapter then block every mention of it.

This is definitely just something you read once and forget. I'm mostly here for the drama myself. The story lost me ages ago.

Weird because I feel right now that fucboi and Sakura were going out after this chapter but you might be right. Have you had the chance to discuss with your mega Kodansha friend.

No, I didn't discuss with her. This is my opinion.

I felt the relationship of fucboy and Sakura had a big gap as you mention Sukura changed his calling from "Yuma kun" to "Yuma san", they didn't live together and when the blond asked him how the relationship go, the fucboy's answer is "not so good".

I assumed sex between Sakura x fucboy and Fumi x Shinobu are both one-time sex.

Also, there was no agreement after sex to officially going out. Sakura let fucboy think she's his girlfriend while Shinobu let Fumi think she's his girlfriend.

And Sakura never said "I love you" to fucboy and Shinobu never said "I love you" to Fumi as well.

Fucboy realized Sakura will never love him by her neglect of his opinion while Fumi realized when seeing the pen.

I think Kodansha gave AK (sensei) a second chance with chapter 132 by Nagi's appearance. But the chapter 133, the meeting of Sakura Nagi and Mio, didn't work and Kodansha said it's enought to cut it short in chapter 136.

BTW, my Kodansha friend said since chapter 132 that the coming of Nagi shew her the author wanted to play with the misunderstanding issue and it meant Grapara will have at least volume 15. But it turned out to be the volume 14 will be the last volume by the failure of chapter 133.

IMHO, the purpose of chapter 134-135 were to break the relationship between Sakura and fucboy and Shinobu and Fumi and rush ending Shinobu with Sakura to save the volume 1-10 from being burnt as Japanese readers love to protest the bad ending by burning the manga !

If you want Sakura to end up with fucboy and Shinobu end up with Fumi, the volume 1-10 are useless, you really don't have to read them, right ?

Tbe reward is his personal goals (driving license, internship and physical strength) and very probably Mami wanting to try again with him now that he'll end fully alone by his own decision to leave everything behind after the big wave but Mami being the obly one with enough resolve to chase him (Chizuru will priorize her chance to be a star and will only reach Lazuya when she gives up on acting... everything is only an excuse to extend the story past the 600 chapters, only that the drama will be a full arc and the reward will be the epilogue.

The monologue in 426 had the emphasis on Kazuya saying his future with Mizuhara will have to stop due to that last great wave.

So around half the next chapter will be the fumi fallout the most of the other half will be Sakura x fuckboi so there will be no meeting in a meaningful way no closure between the two nor will the truth ever be revealed. So at best we get an implied ending where Sakura and shinobu meet or just your run of the mill open ending with shinobu doing barely being a doing director stuff singal while sakura stays with fuckboi and fumi is off fucking around with better looking guys and having a great career. Regardless I'm 80% sure shionbu gets no bitchs and a mediocre director career.

Doesn't even mater at this point. I doubt anything serious will happen since this is a high budget movie set, not some amateur production. But she is now a big red flag, and the direction is clearly moving towards them breaking up after this just to push a Shinobu x Sakura reunion.

When Nagi was brought back I hoped she'd make Sakura realise that Shinobu wouldn't do anything like that. That went nowhere.. 0_0

I think some signs point towards an open ending hinting at a ShinoSaku reunion..

Also, you're right about this final part of the manga rendering the vast majority that preceded it as useless filler. This truly was our Larpara..
