I know you're probably being sarcastic, but it becomes quite clear that the author is trying to clearly differentiate BDSM from domestic/sexual violence. I don't want to spoil future chapters, but I'd suggest keeping that in mind. This chapter and a few others will be shocking/sickening, but they do serve a purpose.

Yeah, and this is an important thing for people interested in BDSM - the amount of women I've known who were in abusive relationships which, at the time, were framed by their partners as just being "kinky" is way too high.
