He is not acting logically. He wants to find the truth about his dad and what he felt about him so he can get some closure.

The real culprit here is the fuckass who hid a second family and then kicked the bucket without giving either family a chance to learn the truth and get some answers. And now, if the will was actually faked without his knowledge, it turns out he didn't even plan for them to find out at all. Just left everyone out to dry and deal with this shitstorm as well as they could.

I hope the eventual dramatic reveal about the dad makes me change my mind, because a mere "he actually loved both families" won't be enough.

Yeah that's kind of a critical visual piece of information. I guess in the long run it doesn't matter much, but it was something I'm sure many overlooked like I did because of it.

Under normal circumstance, I would assume the will had critical information that Yuzu wanted to remain hidden so she traced it with parts omitted. But given how easily she admitted it, her awkward expression, and how everything has played out so far, it’s probably due to really stupid reason.

Off topic but I couldn’t help but notice how this manga would look for any excuse to show Yuzu in a swimsuit.

This is the third minor mystery they've built up and then immediately cracked open, all building towards the bigger fish. Oddly, I feel nostalgic towards some of the late 2000s/early 2010s high school series that played out similarly with their quotidian vignettes.
