First of all, I think Yuzu is lying as she did not even know he exists before any of this happened.

Secondly, the possibility that it was forged is pretty high. Since it is possible that Ueda received either direct succession or big among of money but someone (main suspect being wife of course) didn't like that very much and decided to "fix" it a bit.

In any case, I am glad that aunt/onee-san warmed up to the MC and is even protecting him now. At least thing got from bad to good again. And hopefully they will get even better from here.

Even without a will he is supposed to be getting some. Japanese law splits it like this: the Wife gets half, and the other half is split among the kids. Naoomi only has one sibling, his sister, so he and she each get 25%

Without a will yes, but if there is a will that states he's getting nothing of that apparently at best he can claim just half of his rightful share so in this case a 12,5% of his father's assets.
That's why it's important whether the will is forged or not.

I wonder if that has to do with the part he says he regreted making that bet with her, we haven't seen something makes him goes that he really regreted making it, interesting theory, if she had an affair and it was an arranged marriage they had to keep face if it was something related to the corporate they have

It's possible she knew he was her brother from the very beginning, which would explain why she called out to him as a random male stranger on a bike to travel and room together with.

It would also mean she has been acting on and off the entire time, so I doubt it, unless they really want to take a knife to the scene where he called her the most noble person he knew.

Yuzu wrote the letter because she wanted validation and closure regarding her suspicions of the existence of the other family. The forged will doesn't specifically name the Ueda family as best as I can tell.
