Might? Lol what has it been, the past 4 chapters have all had some type of time skip or something? It's 100% lazy writing

My feelings on the usage of time skips is pretty neutral as long as it fits, but in the way that they've been used in GraPara! I do feel like it's more lazy writing than a good use.

I don't think there's an answer to that; it's just part of Sakura's personality, Shinobu will have to try to adapt to that if he gets back together with Sakura.

What happened with Prison School? I lost track of that manga some 5,6 years ago.

Two skips in five chapters, the second one being a bit smaller (1 month vs a few). They're definitely rushing things along. Execution has been pretty bad, all the chatting Shinobu does ends up in him making more mistakes than not. 136 could make a turnaround but can't say much more until we get to it.

Yeah, the worst part is that it seems like the characters haven't learned anything, because according to the manga, Shinobu isn't able to understand women, so it's likely that Sakura will cheat on Shinobu again, but who knows with this manga hahahaha

I think that's the issue. He doesn't want Sakura 2.0. He's just too wishy washy to actually tell her that.

I've been around the block a bit but I think the only NTR hentai where I can recall the MC willingly taking care of the bulls kid is "Fork in the Road" by Mashiraga Aki, and that creator really makes you get depressed with some of their stories (basically all NTR).

I have a slightly difficult time picturing the ShiFumi conversation even if Shinobu calls for a cut, because right now there's a bit of deception added into the mix. There was the 1 month time skip from the time Shinobu and Fumi met up to discuss the chages to the script, where Fumi first notices the pen; she doesn't say anything about it, and seemingly pretends to agree with Shinobu's idea for the changes. It's at this point right before the time skip that Fumi should protest these changes and voice her other concerns rather than pretend to go along with them, only to off-script things 1 month later right out the gate like that (KA did this for the dramatic flair). If KA can pen a heartfelt conversation (or reveal a twist) between the two to resolve this mess then I'll give her major props, but for now I feel like the damage has been done even at just the getting naked and kissing stage. In the end who knows, KA logic is lurking around every corner.

As for fucboi X Sakura, I don't think they'll stay together ultimately, but beyond that right now I couldn't give anymore of a damn even as a ShiKura believer. Sakura needs to learn about the crap she put Shinobu through for zero good reason, and KA's being dumb as brick about it to the end is the vibe I'm getting right now. As someone pointed out, if MC's STILL do not meet again in 136 in an epilogue even, their last interaction will have been that break up text Sakura sent. At that point it's clear KA is just LARP'ing as a spiteful teenage girl to taunt her readers and publishers that followed the series all this time.

That's exactly why I think that, if they genuinely want this series to have a good ending, Kodansha should kick Katsura Airi and the useless editor off the project and bring in a trustworthy writer to take over. They could point to the significant drop in Volume 13's sales after Chapter 135 was released as justification.

Then Chapter 136 could reveal that everything that happened at the end of Chapter 135 was just a Katsura Airi's final wet dream, and finally let these idiots whose brains have been scrambled by Katsura Airi's writing actually sit down and talk things out like human beings.

As for the ending, it could be Shikura, Shifumi, or even have Chico turn all of them into clones and make them a harem

Ch 136 could still bring some surprise turnarounds and reveals, but having Fumi do this as a cliffhanger to retain interest/engagement for two weeks until the final chapter is a choice of all time to be making. Boldy stupid imo, because I don't think the "engagement" is worth the anger that it brought about. Fumi was up to this point probably the favorite female character for many. Even if they successfully walk it back a sour note will linger.

p.s. Liking the flexibility you're showing for the endings. Chico clones idea is a great touch following up on that bonus chapter haha.

I mean can't blame them. Just go back to bits of the fucboi blonde chat. Fucboi "I kind of took her by force and skipped some steps", blonde's responses: "that's just how much you loved her, man you're so cool". I know the nuance changes a bit with TL'ing but I don't know if the native JP will make it that much better, I've read through my fair share of MTL'ed VN's.

Oh if it's the same one since the beginning than you're probably right. It really doesn't feel like like there's been any editor change, even though some things felt odd going from 133>134, it was probably just me overthinking on some minor details.
