Unfortunately this kind of thing really does happen. Please be wary, especially of someone showing up suddenly and at night.
As hard as it can be to see depicted, I really like how realistically this manga represents relationships and the difference between BDSM and using force.
Even for people who have rape fantasies or kinks, there is a big difference between fantasizing about a scenario, or even carrying it out in a controlled environment, and actually wanting to go through something that traumatic IRL

The thing that really makes this distressingly realistic is the weird spots of attempted positivity from him. Bringing her the dessert, talking like he cares about her being lonely, saying he doesn't want her to leave her while holding her. You can really see how he isn't presented as just some inhuman monster, but instead an uncomfortably human one.

It doesn't justify what he does but it grounds it in the rationalizations a real abuser would make.
