Sigh, this MC is exhausting and anything he has done is so forgettable that I don’t even know if he has done ANYTHING to warrant this kind of interest from the FMC besides existing, without going back and re-reading previous chapters. He may have done something, but his extremely distorted view of himself just negates it all in my opinion, and if I’m the FMC, it’s just too much.

MC needs to put in a lot of work with a therapist. If this is how he views himself, then how would I be able to trust that he is going to be a reliable partner who will stand up for me when called upon.

If some dude starts hitting on FMC, is MC realistically going to be like “that’s my girl!!!” Or is he actually going to be like “that guy is so much better than me, she should be with him” and start another tiring arc of drama.

Whatever, don’t even know why I’m effort posting like this for slop.

Someday I'm going to have to get someone to explain this whole trope of "I'm not good enough / too low status to be seen with you". It gets low-key infuriating at times when the only difference appears to be "she's moderately attractive" and it happens in these types of series all the time.

It gives off “I don’t care or aren’t considerate of your feelings.” Even if that’s not the intent. You are making her seem like she’s more shallow than she actually is.
