To be fair, this is a MC that is on New Game+ and has already had experience in battles against much stronger enemies with his previous party. Compared to playing a role in taking down a demon dragon as a thief, dealing with a werewolf who can only pick on lowbies and some not-too-long-awakened succubus doesn't seem that bad.

I suppose "THE NEW GATE" would throw you for a loop since monsters can go as high as lvl 1000 but players/NPC races can only go as high as 255
