Note: I believe the ramen shop featured in this chapter is the original Harupin Ramen in Suwa, Nagano (the Suwa flagship store, specifically), rather than Harupin Miso Ramen Raizo (which is a spin-off concept focused on miso ramen).
I also think the Tenhou location featured in this chapter is the Suwa Inter store, which recently moved locations and changed its name to the Suwa Station Park store.

I'm not too keen on the details since I've never been to Japan myself, but that's a good call! It might really be just as you say (our only way to confirm is through the pictures). Still, thanks for the extra knowledge!

Do people even still worry or care about garlic breath?

I feel like everyone was freaking out about it when I was a kid in the late 90s-early 2000s (and even then, I thought it was weird adults cared so much about it), but I genuinely haven’t heard it being brought up in the last decade at least.
