as mentioned in the comments of the previous chapters, I've avoided this series (and another one) ever since the DMCA. I uploaded what I had done a while back for you guys now, and I spoke with the TL about continuing it. I'd be down to finish this w/ miichan007's assistance with clrd if they're willing, and the TL confirmed they're OK with that.

Thanks for the chapter. It is both healthy and bittersweet to see they both accept this whole journey was an impossible dream. Sooner or later, Mio has to face to the horrible truth that her son is gone. Perhaps moved on to another phase (I mean, belief in Isekai is no stranger than belief in an afterlife in Paradise), but one where she can't follow. Her own life can only move forward again if she can let go of the memory of her son and accept this is her life continues. Whether that life includes Doubara or her husband or by herself, it has to be more meaningful than what she's been through so far.

Well said. I understand if people don't like this since he's the source of so much damage, but even if he demonstrated being an unrepentant bastard and psychological abuser, I'd like the husband to repent for his actions, heal and evolved from being a guy who peaked in high school to an actual decent humang being. Far from Mio, of course, he did too much damage to her.

It might have started as a Journey to try to reincarnate and find her son, but it became a journey of healing, acceptance and learning more about her loved child.

He might be dead, but her son is not gone, he lives in her heart, and thanks to that, it also lives on Doubara's heart.
