For those who don't know: telephone companies used to give out these handbooks to the most elite callers (we're talking the absolute best of the best, top of the food chain) and they contained information on things like how to properly operate a telephone, hand-to-hand combat, make explosives with household ingredients, how to use firearms, how to make calls untraceable, how to listen in on calls, blend in with crowds, bomb disposal and a list which if decrypted allows one to know the phone number and corresponding name for every registered phone in a particular area.
But this was stopped because the CIA sued them (hopefully I got it right)

I try to memorize them by heart, cause I have had a few times where my shitty rust bucket car has left me stranded in the middle of nowhere, and I had no phone charge, so I had to ask random strangers for their phone to call for help.
