Side note, apparently gym etiquette in Japan is bonkers. You have double wipe everything down (which is not that bad tbh) and if you make any noise at all you get angry glares. Which like, I'm not one of those dad lifters, but sometimes there's a small bracing noise idk if I would have to seppuku for my dishonour.
