So I looked around for the missing chapters, and a site called Kaynscans, one of those that translate mainly korean and chinese stuff is also translating this, the latest chapters are under a paywall, but it contains chapters 43, 44 and even this 45 already available there.

I did a version for myself because it was very noticeable that the translation by the other scanlator was wrong and Rom-Com Haven isn't upload anything since the last chapter.

What mistakes? Their translation has been good. They've been uploading them at a consistent pace so I don't get what you mean by they haven't uploaded anything either. Not our fault you're impatient for some weird reason.

As a reader I dont get what yall problem is with sniping. Its just more competition in this PIRATE market. Most of these manga do not have much depth anyway to need a meticulous translation. Not even talking about this case, just in general

It's similar to the logic behind some others in this thread recommending that the sniper work on other series instead of one with an active translation. If a translator/group sees someone else start working on a series, then they are likely to stop working on that series to put their efforts towards other series that aren't being translated.

As Coud31 points out, this isn't really a market where competition makes sense. There's a far greater magnitude of untranslated work compared to people working on translation (especially with good quality). People will be more inclined to put work where it is more needed rather than doubling-up with someone else on the same series. The only time multiple groups stick to the same series is if they all just really like the series and the translation work is part of how they enjoy it.

It can be "living in a bubble" or not, but I (like surely at least a few others too) don't care for other sites. I'm a mangadex-only reader , be it a me "problem" or not, and I get "attached" to good scan groups. So, if a random person brings a mlt/poor quality chapter on a title that a good group is putting effort on and that can make the good group lose interest in working on it, I'm gonna be butt-hurt and complain about it.

The fact that there are more chapters on other sites isn't an excuse. We're on mangadex and on mangadex there's currently only Rom-Com working on this and delivering good quality.

It's not healthy to hold it in for 3 months.
Plus it's been said it is MTL, hell, I'll take it while awaiting for the proper translation to come.

Because it's happen enough that if there's a snipe, the original group then stops translating because why bother and the snipe stops after like 2 chapters because they got bored or something. So now a series that had a consistent translation has nothing now.

As there is not actual rule (via https://mangadex.org/guidelines) it happens to be more of a community evoked "guideline". I've seem people say everything form two to five months. From what I've seen high quality and dependable groups tend to get a longer grace, meanwhile some groups have people actively encourage sniping for personal reasons.

Personally outside of chapters made bad on purpose to troll, my personal stance is to try and nudge people who are providing free translations over to one of the many actually abandoned mangas on my read list.

On one hand there are scans in which MTL produces a higher quality end product, on the other hand it's hilarious how none of the people who've used it on this series can do so much as edit gendered terms for the Queen correctly.

That's entirely dependent on whoever the uploaders are. Some do things such as hoard chapters, put them behind paywalls, only upload to their own platforms, or "forget" to upload elsewhere.
