I like it. Instead of a flash forward ending. We are experiencing the story with the daughter. I honestly don't know why people think the pacing is off. When it literally starts with the daughter asking how they meet and how she was cool.


you tell a story that takes place 10 years ago in chunks. Because you don't know when something in life will interrupt you. Just like his work calling him on his day off. 🤔

Kindergarten lasts for 3 years, although the first 2 years act more like preschool. Then it goes into 6 years elementary, 3 years middle, giving it the 13th year at the first year of HS.
