Note: She was not gentle.

Why i feel it is unnecessary fan service ?
No such thing.

Low key the manha kinda ass and not the good kind of ass as well, it just feels like its dragging even tho its 2 chs in atm
Because the original was 4koma twit… X strips for the ADD crowd. This has to be more fleshed out. And slightly less horni.

They look way younger than the original strips. They look like teens when they should be around 30. Thanks for the chapter!!!

Thank you for another delightful translation.

I did notice some errors.
  1. https://mangadex.org/chapter/e41d65d5-001c-4b9f-bc4f-15dd51aee600/11
    1. Missing SFLX CLRD and TS on bottom-right.

Jesus, you gave me a heart attack over a few inconsequential SFX...
(also, fixed)

Is the "10 years later" metaphorical ? Because if high-school starts at 15, then they're supposed to be 25.

Granted the author isn't spending much effort in making the adults version look like adults, but that's kinda par for the course in manga…

I was under the impression the 10 years later was from when they graduated.

High school in Japan starts at 16. And they were second years in the original story so they should be at least 27 in the future. But they look so much younger. Actually, they might be older as Haru ages in the original story so they should be at least 30. I do like the original art over this one.

That'd be weird. With a 3 year high school they'd be 19 at the youngest possible age when entering university.

But I've just looked it up and everything seems to say japanese high school is 3 years starting at 15yo. (Following a 3 year middle school, and 6 years of elementary school) Really their most special oddity is not starting the year in september or january but in april.

You start at 16 your first year and end at 18 their third year.

Yeah, no, as much I love the original comic, I just can't take the generic art and the stretched out blandness of the scenes that strips all the kick from them anymore, I'm out, sorry.

You're missing the point. If there are three years of high school, and you're 16 when the first year starts, then yes, you'll start the third year at 18, but then… You still have the whole third year to go through ! Time where you will almost certainly[*] get your 19th birthday. Which would be your age when starting the next stage (university or whatever)

* : Well, in european/american school systems there's a sizable share of the population with a summer birthday that doesn't get to age during the school-year proper, but the japanese only have two weeks of holidays (sometimes less) between two years so much less likely.

I am going to state a controversial opinion here and now.

Expanding a two panel joke format into a 20 page manga, does NOT work.

Thou mayeft commence thy approach, my brethren.
