Mithril and Mr Stone naturally would be useful even if they were affordable. Not that I'd expect him to spam those two around due to their potentially dangerous applications.

In Minecraft you do want that, and author-sensei is definitely playing MC. If you take a Fortune III pickaxe to a seam of 4 diamond ore, often times you get 6-10 diamonds out of it.

Huehue gotta thank Harvest Moon for those upgrades, unless there's an even earlier game that had those farm tool upgrades. Speaking of, the latest farm sim I've played is Grimshire. It has furries which you may or may not like, and the game is still not finished but I highly recommend it.

He was able to convert silver to mithril, so there's a chance there's something for gold too.

Which would means nothing is 'worthless' to his side because he can convert it to an exponentially more precious resource.
