Picking up from off my previous comment, I'm more confident now that Yuni will need to "save" Fuuko from this woman and that her and Fuuko are endgame. That tear and sending back the earring were rough; she's reaching out for help. For her part, Yuni still doesn't match with Nanase. It's not really a matter of being good girlfriends or not anymore. They're just different people and it doesn't feel genuine, especially on Yuni's part. A lot of effort needed.

With the Yuki element coming to a head at the same time it looks like it'll be a "who are you going to choose to save" situation with Fuuko likely winning out.

So from what I see in this chapter and this whole manga. Nanase is the only normal person out of EVERYONE.
Not sure if you mean that as a compliment or an insult....

Kinda wish Yuki stayed the normal one in this circus, oh well
Yuki was never normal. She interfered with Nanase's friendships in grade school, etc. She's a yandere that's supressed her REAL desires...

everything happening in this story is so twisted and removed from myself, but I can't help but continue reading to see where it all ends.

Is there anyone in this story that doesnt have some sort of relationship issue!?

It was middle school (I double-checked; ch35 p21), but I'm of the opinion your larger point stands.

I almost believed she'd chill out and be okay to be in a relationship with Nanase if she could replace Yuni (as in, Yuni specifically is what was setting her off so badly)—except Nanase is so prone to forgetting her relationships due to sports-brain that I suspected Yuki would also start mentally sliding again if she felt she was being de-prioritized in any way.
And, y'know, now adding in what happens in this very chapter when Nanase innocently/ignorantly confesses to not remembering they knew one another starting in kindergarten.

"Stop with the cheating"? Did she mean break up with natsume and go out with her fr, right?

Man I still remember how comments were full of Yuni haters cause Nanase could do no wrong and how she should instead go out with saint Yuki

Sometimes I wonder how Yuni haters feel with the way the story is going since they mostly disappeared, especially now that Yuki mask will seemingly completely fall

We who called out Nanase as being a terrible girlfriend and not being a poor little victim sure got validated in the long run :pepela:
Nanase might be a terrible girlfriend but everyone else are just terrible people in general lmfao

She gives back the piercing, so no.

IMO, she's trying to distance herself from Yuni to protect her from Mashiro's antics: no cheating, no leverage for blackmail.

Nanase keeps on being the worst girlfriend and sucks at communication. She doesn't get Yuni at all and lives in her own little world.

Yuni will save Fuuko from Mashiro and Fuuko will save Yuni from Nanase. Trust.

Are average persons supposed to ignore their significant other's needs and just do whatever they like and assume the other will follow? I know it's realistic, because of lot of people are selfish like that, but it doesn't mean it's normal or should be emulated.

So, yes, Nanase is a terrible person. We'll just posit that her "terribleness" is common and boring, while the "terribleness" of the others is unique and entertaining.
