So, that sounds like a reasonable position. But I'd like you to go back to your first post on this thread, here, and consider whether what you were replying to (which states "why can't they just poly together") fits your description of a post that "they need a poly ending as if it's necessary".

Because I don't believe it does. It seems like someone just saying that kind of ending would make the characters happy and the poster wishes for that. They didn't say anything like "this needs a poly ending to be any good" or something like that.

As a result, your reaction comes across as over the top and mean-sprited. Beyond that, even though it wasn't justified here, you used it as an opportunity to insult a whole class of people.

I think you're someone capable of being reasonable, so I just hope you reflect on it a bit and can be a bit better at letting people express the feelings they have about fiction.

it was a build-up reaction, this isn't the first time i had an entire debate with pro-poly groups in yuri manga.
